2022-2023

PA MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear Alumni and Friends of Saint Vincent,

lease see this report of the finances for the 2022-23 academic year. We are grateful for the many people who have brought about these successes and the strong financial position that Saint Vincent College continues to hold. Thank you for your support in service of our students.

The 2022-23 year was full of positive activity for Saint Vincent. We welcomed Dr. Helen K. Burns as our Rev. Owen Roth, O.S.B., Inaugural Chair of the Department of Nursing, and welcomed back Al Novak, C’81, to become our new Vice President for Philanthropy & Alumni Relations. Plans for the new Dunlap Family Athletic and Recreation Center and Rhodora and John Donahue Hall, home of our new nursing department, were first envisioned and began to crystalize.

On the academic side, we welcomed back an Army and Air Force ROTC program that has since begun to flourish among our students. As our professors and students collaborated on research and learning inside and out of the

classroom, external sources like U.S. News and World Report continued to rank Saint Vincent as a top-tier liberal arts institution in the nation. And thanks to stable enrollment and the generosity of our alumni and friends, our finances continue to be strong.

In an effort to be good environmental stewards, we are publishing a preview of our annual report in print. Our full financial report for the 2022-23 fiscal year is published online for your consideration, and we hope you will find that it reflects the above successes and prosperity.

On behalf of our Board of Directors, faculty, staff, students, and monastic community, thank you for your continued care and support.

Rev. Paul Taylor, O.S.B. President, Saint Vincent College
