The Ministry Corner – October’s Featured Ministry The ChoiceOne Baby Bottle Campaign is our effort to support teens who are struggling with unplanned pregnancy and securing resources for their newborn baby. Each family takes one or more bottles home and fills them with spare change for four weeks. Bottles will be returned to Mat. Andrea October 26th. Monies collected will help ChoiceOne’s ministry of hope, life, and salvation. Please refer questions to Mat. Andrea or Fr. John.

All parish activities should include these core Christian values: Worship, Fellowship, Education, Service, Outreach, & Evangelism.

November 1 , Clean-Up Day Join us on Saturday, November 1st from 11am – 3pm as we tackle the church basement. Many hands make light work, so let’s pitch in and pitch stuff out!

November 11 – 12, Diocesan Assembly If any parishioner in good standing is interested in representing this parish at the Diocesan Assembly, please notify Fr. John in writing by October 1st. The assembly will be November 11th and 12th at Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church; Endicott, NY. The second day is for clergy only.

November 14- 16th, Diocesan Girls Retreat


The Diocesan Department of Youth Ministry is hosting a Girls Retreat Nov. 14- 16 th at St. Basil Academy in Garrison, NY. This event is open to girls in grades 7 -12 and is free of charge. For more information, please visit the diocesan website.
