01 The Stitch: Weaving Encounter and Dialogues Project: Bachelor Thesis Area: Mohmand Agency Tribal Belt Year: 2023 Semester: X The design articulates a comprehensive exploration of enhancing the involvement of marginalized women within the intricate dynamics of spatial design for tribal Fata communities following periods of conflict and the subsequent merger. The central emphasis lies in leveraging indigenous traditions and local customs to formulate a series of strategic interventions aimed at serving as cohesive elements within a fragmented community. These proposed design concepts concentrate on addressing women’s mobility challenges and enhancing their access to spaces. Moreover, the thesis envisions the creation of modern, women-exclusive spaces that not only nurture the development of local crafts and cultural practices but also transform them into a sustainable framework for generating revenue and knowledge transfer for forthcoming generations.

02 THE WALL OF REMEMRANCE Project: Earthquake Memorial Competition Area: Muzaffarabad Organizers: Army Headquarter AJ&K Tyoe: Group Project Semester : IX 2021-22 The “Wall of Remembrance” stands as a tribute to honor those who tragically lost their lives in the devastating 2005 earthquake in Muzaffarabad. This space is meticulously designed as a place for families and friends to mourn and cherish the memories of their loved ones. It’s a space that not only commemorates the past but also nurtures the present and symbolizes hope for the future. The design emphasizes simplicity and seamlessly integrates with the existing topography of the site. Situated atop a mountain, the memorial’s lighting serves as a guiding light visible from a distance, a beacon of hope. A reflective pond bathes in the gentle moonlight, where a gong tolls daily at 8:50 am, marking the time of the earthquake. The crescent-shaped wall incorporates recesses for individuals to place mementos—photographs, personal items, candles, and flowers—as tokens of remembrance. This memorial is intended for the people and sustained by the community. Amid the city’s ongoing development, this site serves as a poignant reminder of those lost in the past and those who remain forever entombed under the debris. Drawings by: Aleezae & Khyzer

03 Azura Fictional City Project: Fictional World building Type: Film Set Semester : VI Year : 2021
The project’s core objective involved crafting a futuristic city, Azura, to explore world-building concepts. Inspired by Italo Calvino’s “Invisible Cities,” narrative construction played a pivotal role in envisioning the cityscape. This endeavor also aimed to consider the city’s design as a potential setting for a film. Set in the year 2100 within the Mystery-Sci-fi genre, Azura stands as a city scarred by its inhabitants’ historical struggle for sustainability. Despite facing multiple destructions, each rebuilding phase sought evolution, resulting in a peculiar landscape featuring diverse cultures, social paradigms, and architectural styles. To safeguard the city’s future, an encompassing projection system was devised. This system manipulated and controlled thoughts to maintain order, inadvertently leading Azura’s residents to embrace a new reality rooted in artificial reflections. Anything diverging from this construct was deemed alien, blurring their grasp on reality. 21
