Future of Housing
DLF Phase 3, Gurugram
SEMESTER VII 2019 YEAR
The intent of the studio was to decipher the complexities in a typical large housing complex and de-
signing an output catering to the future of housing.
The design follows the methodology based on the strand of demographic exploration in order to cater to a certain set of people that defines the “future.
The design primarily emphasises on integration of a public realm within a housing project, not disrupting the lifestyle of the residents and at the same time being an integral part within a busy city fabric. This project breaks the monotony of a typical isolated housing project and adds multiple layers of interaction at many physcial layers.

Mixed-Use Project
WTC Sector 29, Gurugram
SEMESTER VI 2019 YEAR
The intent of the studio was to develop an iterative process that could be modulated and eval-
uated for a given set of criterions. By the use of shape grammer multiple
iterations were generated
through the context and implemented in the design.
The project consists of Residential, office spac-
es, X-factor, retail, and a business hotel. The site being a TOD active zone,
allows flexibility in num-
bers along with extensive scope for an intervention.

City Intervention (Townhall)
Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh
SEMESTER IV 2018 YEAR
The basic premise of the studio was to analyse cul-
tural, socio-economic and political patterns within the
built city fabric and examining the need of intervention. The project began with an extensive on foot site study
and
documentation
leading
to
deduc-
ing the functional needs of the city. Mangalagi-
ri being at the cusp of the past and the future of Andhra Pradesh lacked the sense of Authority. To tackle the question of Authority, Mangalagirir needs an identity with a bold statement “This is Mangalagiri.

f
nd
What is the future of Mangalagiri? Mangalagiri is intended to expand as a sattellite city but its essence will narrow down but never diminish. By essence it is reffered mainly to relegious impact of the city. The development is approaching Mangalagiri from its both ends making Mangalagiri the region of future conflicts which is not being recognised as of now. Mangalagiri will soon become a city of power and it becomes essential for us to dwell on the idea of identity and power to ensure the progressive development of the city.
Where will the intervention happen? A fomal space designed for the function of a townhall; a state management.
I feel the development is creeping into Mangalagiri than fading in which in turn might have negetive impacts if not conisdered yet. Since the edge conditions of Mangaligiri becomes the primary areas of impact it is essential to create a bold statement of identity there. The western edge being more subject to development would be the ideal area of intervention.
What will the intervention be? The idea of strengtheneing the western edge keeping the essence of mangalagiri static can be achieved by introducing an intervention of power and authority. A multifunctional complex comprising of a democratic Towhnhall and State management to assert dominance by the people. A museum and a gallery space to keep the tradition, culture and the essence alive. An archive and library to document the city. A public realm to engage social gatherings and increase the lacking culture of interaction in Mangalaigiri. An semi-public archive and a library consisting of documentation of the City.

LOCATION
SEMESTER V 2018 YEAR
The intent of the studio was to document and analyse the
existing context of the National Crafts
Museum and introduce an alternative strategical function to regenerate the essence of the muse-
um using the ideation of architectonic translation. The concept was developed to the function of media labs

Identify and incorporate a suitable selected agenda for improvement of urban life in the assigned urban fabric. In conclusion, suggest sensetively grounded architectural “acupuncture responses for improvement of the city. The idea of acupuncture is explored through the lens of existing VOIDS and feasible strategical interventions are designed to implement the concept.

In this small module every space has its own character and experience.
Since the space is in the middle of a school, a solid block wasnt designed which would disrupt the current scenario.
Cutouts have been provided in some studios to accmodate variety of functions and use of flexibilty in spaces. PLAN
