TheSalvationArmy volunteerwill conduct themselves inamanner that is consistent with the disciplineand teachings ofTheSalvationArmy within the courseoftheirduties.

TheSalvationArmy volunteerwill dotheirutmosttoprevent abuseand neglect among minors and vulnerableadultsinvolved inarmyactivities and services.

TheSalvationArmy volunteerwill not physically,sexually oremotionally abuseor neglect a minororvulnerableadult.

TheSalvationArmy volunteerwill shareconcerns about inappropriatebehavioror policy violationswith theirsupervisor.

TheSalvationArmy volunteerwillobeythelaws and report any suspected abuse orneglect of aminororvulnerableadult whetheronoroffSalvation Army property,whetherperpetrated by Army volunteerorothers,to thegovernmental authorities.

TheSalvationArmy volunteerunderstand thatTheSalvation Armywill not tolerateabuseand agree to complyin spirit and inaction with thisposition.

TheSalvationArmy volunteerwill accept theirpersonal responsibility toprotect minors and vulnerable adultsfromall formsofabuse.

TheSalvationArmy volunteerwill dotheirutmosttouseallopportunities tobea sourceof help tofamilies in which abuseandneglectofaminororvulnerable adult hasbecomea problem.

TheSalvationArmy volunteerwill betransparentinALLoftheircommunications with minors,betheyelectronic orin person:understanding itis their responsibility,as theadult,to find ways tobuild that transparencyand accountability intoALL oftheirinteractionswith minors.
