What is The Salvation Army doing During the COVID-19 Pandemic?
The same thing we have always done: whatever it takes to meet human need, with God’s help.
We’re Here for Our Community The Salvation Army is still meeting human need during this time of uncertainty and the COVID-19 pandemic.
We want to reassure all the people we serve and our donors that our doors will remain open as long as we can safely care for our neighbors — while observing official health regulations set forth by the CDC, HUD and local health officials. In the coming days and weeks, the most vulnerable among us may be housebound, out of work and in need of basic necessities. In addition to all those who we serve on a regular basis, there are many who never anticipated needing our help. We will be there for them. We are also here to pray — for everyone we serve, and for our donors, volunteers, board members and our entire community.
