TOILET CONVERSION Moseley, Birmingham

Overview: This is a Listed Building located on College road, Moseley area in Birmingham which was used as a public toilet. A client is looking to lease the property and convert into an office space. Scope: The conversion into an office space involve adding an upper floor at the existing ceiling level as well as providing skylight on the existing roof to provide lighting to the extended floor. A stairway was also incorporated to provide access to the proposed extended floor. My role on the project involved producing a detailed section view, floor plans and visual elevations.

SOMERSET HOUSE Overview: Somerset House is a Grade 1 listed building in London which is maily used as an exhibition center. It is a working arts centre built on historic foundations around one of the most beautiful courtyards in Europe. Scope: The aim of the project was to work in groups to survey a section of the building and create an exact BIM Model to be used by the facilities manager. We worked on Section A on the designated plan and produced As-Built BIM Model using Revit with project parameters assigned to each individual elements in the building.
