MERILEE FOWLER Merilee Fowler has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Dakota. With over 20 years of administrative experience working in community collaboration in multiple states, Ms. Fowler currently serves as the Executive Director of two non-profit agencies, MATFORCE, the Yavapai County Substance Abuse Coalition, and Community Counts, an umbrella organization in Yavapai County that establishes and manages community programs that serve youth, individuals, and families. Under her leadership, MATFORCE was awarded the 2013 Coalition of the Year for the nation from the Community Anti-Drug Coalition of America. Ms. Fowler is credentialed as a level 4 prevention specialist in Arizona. She was selected as the Kris Bell Recipient by Arizonans for Prevention for her work in prevention in the state of Arizona. She has been married for 32 years and has three children and two granddaughters. Ms. Fowler is the Secretary of Arizonans for Responsible Drug Policy, a political action committee dedicated to raising awareness about marijuana’s harms and opposing legalization efforts.
