EUROLUCE 2009 - International Lighting Exhibition Milano

Although Europa Design & Furniture is a relatively new company, having been formed in 1984, it is based on a marketing concept elaborated in 1980 by the founder. The idea was to produce a collection called

â&#x20AC;&#x153;The Classic of Moderns Lampsâ&#x20AC;?. This collection which includes all those models which are considered part of the history of furniture design and are not included, as such, in the literature, museum collections, etc. It should be noted that in the late 1970-80 the classic of modern lamps were not generally known by the public and

very few articles on the subject had, as yet, been published. The present Europa design furniture Collection is a direct descendant of that original concept which has been developed over the years to what in now the largest collection of classic
