I READER’S DIGEST RETAIL+CAFE
The cafe is called Reader’s Digest and the space is aimed to be a haven for readers. The dining area has two parts: public and private. The public space has seating for larger groups whereas the secluded area can be cherished by smaller groups. The theme followed throughout the space is Vintage Indian.

Site has been selected such that there are separate spaces: public, secluded, kitchen. The public space is connected to the main road and the entrance. While the secluded area has been placed closer to the subsidiary road and away from the entrance. CASH COUNTER

OFFICE SPACE DESIGN Funskool is a dynamic and playful brand and the spaces depict that by the use of the main structure which is visible from all the important viewpoints and also acts as branding. The colour scheme and all the interior elements are inspired from the toys at Funskool.

III ACROSS BORDERS EXHIBITION DESIGN
The theme of the knock down exhibition is CONTEMPORARY CRAFTS: ACROSS BORDERS: MAKING THE WORLD BETTER THROUGH THREADS. The objects being displayed in the exhibition talk about how social cause and threads come together through weaving and embroidery across borders (International, state or mental) to make contemporary craft objects of India.

IV MAGICIAN’S ARENA VISUALIZATION
The object chosen was a lantern and it was converted into a Magician’s Arena. The space has an added Hypogeum (underground) area which is a magician school. The magic takes place in the main glass auditorium with the INDIAN ROPE TRICK being the center of attraction. The surrounding site acts as an amusement park.

V ARTIST’S RETREAT
RESIDENCE/WORKSPACE FOR AN ARTIST This project is about reclaiming spaces and transforming it in a way that it fulfills the needs and requirements of the client. We were given a site in Champaner and it was transformed into a retreat studio for artist: Henry Matisse.W The challenge was to give a comfortable and work friendly environment to him, not disturbing the geographical conditions and respecting the historical site.
