Advantages of using Liposomes
A true BREAKTHROUGH In permanent and semi permanent hair color
Truly low ammonia (0.89% - others range 7 - 9%)
High Pigmentation for better color coverage Liposomes safely and naturally carry pigment in the hair (no more hair damage from high ammonia, surfactants and emulsifiers!)
Overview of Liposomes Liposomes are microscopic spherical vesicles that form when phospholipids are hydrated. When mixed in water under low shear conditions, the phospholipids arrange themselves in sheets, the molecules aligning side by side in like orientation, "heads" up and "tails" down. These sheets then join tails-to-tails to form a bilayer membrane which encloses some of the water in a phospholipid sphere. Typically, several of these vesicles will form one inside the other in diminishing size, creating a multilamellar(multiple layers) structure of concentric phospholipid spheres separated by layers of water. In this manner liposomes have been extremely successful as delivery system for drugs, vitamins and cosmetic materials. Liposomes can be custom designed for almost any need by varying the lipid content, size, surface charge and method of preparation.

Advantages of using Liposomes A special quality of liposomes is that they enable water soluble and water insoluble materials to be used together in a formulation without the use of surfactants or other emulsifiers. Water soluble materials are dissolved in the water in which the phospholipids are hydrated, and when the liposomes form, these materials are trapped in the aqueous center. The liposome wall, being a phospholipid membrane, holds fat soluble materials such as oils. Our proprietary ultra highshear technology refines this process, producing stable, unilamellar (single layer) liposomes with specifically designed structural microsphere with controllable release of the encapsulated ingredients. The liposomes, and the otherwise immiscible ingredients they contain, can then be used in formulations without the need for surfactants or emulsifiers, eliminating the drawbacks of associated with the use of such (more manageable hair)

The characteristics of liposomes also yield a variety of other formulation benefits: Controlled Delivery System of Hair Color Pigment into the Hair. Biodegradable, Non-Toxic Carry Both Water and Oil Soluble Payloads Can Solubilize Recalcitrant Compounds Prevention of Oxidation for better condition of hair Protein Stabilization to improve hairs condition Controlled Hydration for softer feeling hair

Release Kinetics of Liposomal Payload When a cosmetic containing liposomes is applied to the hair, for example, the liposomes are deposited on the hair and begin to merge with the cellular membranes. In the process, the liposomes release their payload of active materials into the cells. As a consequence, not only is delivery of the actives very specific--directly into the intended cells--but the delivery takes place over a controlled amount of time. Hair color pigment in liposomes exhibit better stability, penetration and efficacy at lower usage levels.
Liposomes penetrate the hair shaft without having to force open the cuticle.

How to Mix HiFi Color
P.4
BES HiFi permanent color system is unique in its use of liposome technology to deliver highly pigmented color plus high quality conditioning agents into the hair. BES HiFi has 86 nuances divided into 18 separate series. Each series is at least 85% target shade with 15% natural (brown) blended, with the exception of our natural series which is 100% natural with a blue-violet base. This allows for amazing reflection, shine, resistant to fading, and precision formulations.
Processing time 35 minutes; non progressive Do not use heat Apply with a brush or bottle, evenly distributing to desired areas NO BROWN-OUT ENDS: 85% true pigment with 15% natural series: allows for customizing formulas, eliminating brown-out ends, with an intense reflection. Formulas can include Kontrast series, and Intensive series (no more than 20% of the formula) Natural series and the Golden beige series cover white hair 100%.

How does BES Soft Color work?
P.6
BES has sourced and utilized advanced formulations using the finest pharmaceutical grade ingredients to ensure that the integrity of the hair is preserved. Because BES Soft Color contains absolutely NO AMMONIA it leaves the hair undamaged. Mixing all Soft Color : 2:1 for conventional coloring or 1:1 if more pigmentation is required.

Revelatore #1, BES Soft Color -- This activator deposits the pigment on the surface area ( the cuticle and where the cuticle is missing). It does not deposit the pigment any further into the hair shaft, for this reason it is primarily used for toning, brightening and to revive color. Processing time : 10-15 minutes. Cuticle surfaceMissing/damaged
Color deposits in damaged areas

Revelatore #2, BES Soft Color -- When using this activator the pigment deposits on missing or damaged cuticle areas and attaches underneath the cuticle layer. The color does not interact with your natural pigments, and therefore does not change the actual color of the hair pigment. Revelatore #2 is your primary semi-permanent developer. Revelatore #2 is recommended for tone on-tone coloring, enhances highlights, covers low percentage white or gray hair. Processing time : 20-25 minutes.


Revelatore # 3, BES Soft Color -- This activator deposits the pigment on top of the cortex of the hair. Revelatore #3 is especially useful when covering hard to cover gray and white hair and enhances warm highlights. Processing time: 20-30 minutes
