ASBURY PARK EDITION

(((RADAR ) ))

Rising from the ashes is something we know a little bit about here in the City by the Sea.

Director/Writer Robert Andersen’s award-winning short film ASBURY PARK continues to shine it’s message of hope from coast to coast.

We experience that story told in the short film”Asbury Park” - of the parallel struggle & renewal of both a town & the film’s main character Colin, brilliantly played by Chance Harlem Jr.. Strikingly beautiful, the film’s rich imagery & solid editing suggest it’s possible to right the wrongs of one’s past.

Interestingly, just as our city’s progress continues to unfold, so does the filmmaker’s project Robert’s busy working hard now on turning AP into a full feature film. Following it’s debut here @ the Garden State Film Festival in March, Robert has taken AP on the festival circuit to rave reviews & awards. Now, “Asbury Park” returns to New Jersey in June for 3 premiere festival screenings: 6.3 Asbury Shorts Festival Axelrod Theatre | Deal | 7:30pm
