Team Render Guide


Working on the machine(s) you want to use as a Cinema 4D rendering client. 1.

Open Team Render Client. Go to Edit, Preferences, Renderer, Team Render; on the machine that is going to be used as the Team Render client. Enable Team Render.

Create a new Security Token, or take note of the existing Security Token information. Remember the port number and Security Token information! 2


*If you change the Security Token; TAB out of the field, otherwise it may not save! 3.

Make sure the “Share Machine over Network” box is checked!

A machine ready to be used for Team Rendering will have a green dot in the status bar at the lower-left corner of the Cinema 4D interface.

*If the dot is orange, it means the machine is currently being used in Team Rendering

Now go to the machine you will be working ON, to add the client you just configured…

On your workstation, open Cinema 4D and enable Team Render. Team Render is off by default on Cinema 4D

*If you DO NOT want your workstations’ processing power to be shared with other machines, un-check “Share Machine over Network” under Local Settings, here in the Preferences menu.

Your list of machines will update. Add machines to Team Render using the Computer Name: Port Number Hostcomputer:5400 4


*Please speak with your instructor if you are not able to add a machine by using Computer Name. 9.

Team Render Machines list should be updated and show active clients, ready for rendering.
