KA! 140 Challenge Fundraisers

FABULOUS FUNDRAISERS!

Celebrating the 140th Anniversary of Kids Alive!

Well done to everyone who has raised money for their Salvation Army church in the Kids Alive! 140 Challenge! Here’s a round-up of some of our top fundraisers…

Lexi from Brislington, who ‘wants to help other people’, is being sponsored to do 140 star jumps. She’s already raised £120 for The Salvation Army.

Each week of the summer holidays sisters Molly and Lottie have played a piece of music live on the Bourne Salvation Army Facebook page. Together they have raised more than £280 – the money is going to help buy a basketball hoop and some other equipment for children to enjoy at the church’s new after-school club.

Grown-ups have been involved in the 140 Challenge too. Justin, the editor of Kids Alive!, is being sponsored to run 140km to raise money for children’s work at Sutton Salvation Army Community Church. He’s smashed his target of £140, raising £194 so far!

We think our fundraisers are fabulous! Thank you for helping to celebrate our 140th anniversary in such an awesome way!

Readers can continue the fundraising fun beyond 21 August if they would like to. Make sure you email or write to us about your fundraising efforts and include some cool photos!
