TTopping the bill is a supersonic RAF Typhoon. History lovers will be sure to get a lift from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight with its Lancaster, Spit and Hurricane. And the Red Arrows will cruise in their famous Diamond Nine before breaking into death-defying manoeuvres, including Opposition Barrel, Detonator and the ever-popular Heart. It’s not only the RAF on show –propeller-powered Team Raven and AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers will wow the crowds with their aerial antics too.
Those of you living further south might like to head to the Eastbourne International Airshow. They’ll feature many of the same aircraft, plus the British Army’s Tigers Parachute Display Team. And there’ll be loads of fun on the ground with cool classic cars, stunt displays and fairground rides.
There are plenty of other air shows to choose from, so keep your eyes and ears open for an air display near you.

I wanted squash or zzy pop, but more importantly she knew her thirsty son needed a drink of water.
In this week’s cartoon Bible story the Israelites were acting a bit like little Justin Reeves who thought he knew what was best for him. They seemed to have forgotten how bad life was in Egypt and how God had rescued them from a place and situation they hated. Thankfully, their parent in Heaven knew what was best for them and came up with a plan.
It’s easy to get annoyed with God when things aren’t going the way we want. But something I’ve learned is that God is pretty good at making sure we have what we need. I wonder what you need from God. Ask him for it and see what happens.
