Pick Out Patch
After watching ‘the little mermaid’ i’ve been inspired to take up SNORKELlING. See if you can spot this version of me on ANOTHER PAGE IN THIS WEEK’S ISSUE.
Asteroids
Asteroids are small lumps of rock that orbit the Sun and they are seriously old! These mysterious space rocks are leftovers from the formation of our solar system, which experts believe happened around 4.6 billion years ago. There are loads of asteroids in our solar system and most of them hang out in the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.
Unlike planets, which are spherical, asteroids come in all shapes and sizes. Vesta, the largest asteroid in our solar system measures 329 miles in diameter. At the other end of the scale there are asteroids that are just 30 metres wide. Each asteroid is made of different stuff – some are made of clay while others contain metals, such as nickel and iron.

If you’re a kid that loves caring for and interacting with cute toys, you’re going to love this week’s competition. Jiggly Pets Gummymals are a range of adorable, interactive gummy bears with more than 20 sounds and reactions. Just like a gummy bear, Jiggly Pets Gummymals are so squishy. There are four vibrant colours to collect – pink, red, yellow and blue. These cuties will become your new best friends as you play and care for them.
Place the gummy bottle in your Gummymal’s mouth and listen as they make cute feeding sounds. After feeding you can even burp them by patting their back. You can also tickle their tummies and hear them laugh and wiggle them around to hear them make silly sounds. When it’s time for bed, lie your Gummymal down and listen to their cute yawning and sleeping sounds.
For your opportunity to win a Jiggly Pets Gummymals, answer the question below and email your full name, age, address and answer to kidsalive@salvationarmy.org.uk.
