There are lots of different challenges to take on depending on your swimming ability. The Core Challenges include distances from 400m to 5km. It’s even possible to split the distances between friends or swim as part of a team. Why not take part as a family challenge? You can have up to ve members in a Swimathon team.

For advanced swimmers there are Supercharge Challenges. These include putting three 5km swims together to take on the Triple K or adding all the distances together to tackle the 30.9. Wowzers!

How to Take Part

All the information you need to take part in Swimathon can be found at swimathon.org. You can register for the challenges and nd venues where Swimathon events are taking place. Pick your distance, choose your date, nd a venue and go swimming! Remember to fundraise for a charity too. The cial charity partners for Swimathon are Cancer Research and Marie Curie.

If you’re not able to attend a Swimathon event between 12 and 14 May you can still join in the fun. The MySwimathon challenge is for people taking part in whatever venue they can, any time between 28 April and 21 May.

There is a registration fee to enter Swimathon, but it’s possible to take part in MySwimathon for free if you can fundraise £50 on a JustGiving web page set up by your parents or carers.
