MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT

LOCATION Innsifil,ON, Canada

SIZE 131,000 m²

PROGRAM Residential units and commercial

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This project is a mixed-use development project in Innsifil, Ontario consisting of a podium and three residential towers spanning 40 levels As the team lead for this project, my primary responsibility involves coordinating between various engineering disciplines and the architectural team This entails developing the design development drawings and ensuring the smooth execution of multiple deliverables

In addition to overseeing the project's progress, I also supervise the working drawings team, providing guidance and support to ensure their adherence to project specifications and standards. Furthermore, I serve as a technical consultant, offering expertise and recommendations throughout the project's lifespan

My role requires effective communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and construction professionals By maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the project's goals and requirements, I contribute to the successful realization of the mixed-use development, ensuring its compliance with regulatory guidelines, quality standards, and client expectations

CONDOMINUM

YEAR 2023

LOCATION Toronto, Canada

SIZE 30,000 m²

PROGRAM Boutique residential units, retail, and restaurant.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A high-rise condominium building located in Toronto, Ontario was a challenging project that required innovative solutions The building consisted of 400 residential units spread across 22 floors. One of the major challenges faced during this project was giving the neo-classic facades the look of precast panels using a lighter material

To address this challenge, we worked closely with the window wall system contractor to develop a type of fiberglass panel that could be fixed on the window wall system This panel had the texture and appearance of precast, providing an elegant and lightweight solution to our challenge

In addition to addressing this challenge, I also played an important role in developing the building envelope details and coordinating the window and curtain wall systems according to manufacturer details This involved working closely with various teams to ensure that all aspects of the building’s design were properly integrated and coordinated.

The structural design was also an important aspect of this project I worked closely with our team to ensure that all structural elements were properly designed and integrated into the overall building design

Overall, this high-rise condominium building in Toronto was a challenging but rewarding project that required innovative solutions and close collaboration between various teams

LOCATION Markham, ON, Canada

PROGRAM Residential units, retail

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A new high-rise development is being built in Markham, Ontario. The building consists of 4 levels of podium and 40 floors of residential units. To achieve the dynamic elevation of this project, a transfer slab at various levels had to be provided.

One of the major challenges I faced was coordinating the structural and architectural design to ensure that there were no conflicts or interference between them. I successfully developed design development drawings and prepared the required project deliverables for submission to the city of Markham. Additionally, I successfully developed the model for this job using Revit and ensured the accuracy of drawings.

My contributions helped to bring this dynamic and exciting addition to the skyline of Markham closer to reality.

MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT

YEAR 2021

LOCATION Toronto, ON, Canada

SIZE 15.000 m²

PROGRAM Residential units, retail, and restaurant, and business offices

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A mid-rise mixed-use development in downtown Toronto The building features a retail floor on the ground level, business offices on the second floor, a restaurant with outdoor seating on the fourth floor, and residential units on floors 3 to 8 Part of the building incorporates an existing historical structure built in 1905. The exterior façade of this structure has been preserved while its interior units have been redesigned

One major challenge I faced was developing several envelope details to resolve the variety of exterior finishes and ensuring their integration with each other Additionally, I coordinated the structural design and created edge-of-slab drawings I also reviewed various shop drawing submissions and coordinated all engineering drawings and requirements to ensure accuracy by resolving conflicts

My contributions have helped bring this unique and exciting development closer to reality

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A high-rise development complex in Toronto consists of three buildings Each building features retail spaces on the ground floor and residential units on the upper 15-18 floors The design of the complex seamlessly integrates modern aesthetics with functionality to create a vibrant urban living experience

As a member of the design team, my role was to develop the exterior facades of the buildings This involved selecting exterior finishing materials and colors that would complement the overall design of the complex I also created renderings and presentation materials to showcase our design concepts to authorities for approval

TOWNHOUSE DEVELOPMENT

YEAR 2020

LOCATION Richmond hill, ON, Canada

SIZE 70 Units

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a key member of the design team for a townhouse development project, I was responsible for developing the design of 60 units based on 7 different prototypes. I also prepared a comprehensive design development package for submission to various municipal authorities and ensured compliance with local regulations and standards. Additionally, I successfully obtained the city approval on building permit drawings.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In my role on this project, I was responsible for developing the conceptual design and obtaining client approval on design drawings. Additionally, I prepared marketing materials and delivered presentations at both client and municipal meetings.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As the lead architect in this project, I was responsible for creating the project program and developing the conceptual design for this project, the project included retail space on the ground floor, a restaurant with terraces on the second floor and two towers designated for medical and business offices. My role also involved developing design development drawings. Given the various types of occupancies involved in this project, it presented a unique challenge in terms of design However, through careful planning and collaboration with my team, we were able to successfully deliver a cohesive and functional design that met the needs of all stakeholders

CULTURE PARK COMPLEX

YEAR 2017

LOCATION Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

PROGRAM 4Stars hotel, theater, retail, restaurants, business offices

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As the lead architect for this project, I was responsible for developing the conceptual design of a 4-star hotel with 20 rooms, a conference center with around 1300 seats, retail outlets, restaurants and an exterior event areas My responsibilities included preparing the project program and developing the architectural design drawings I worked closely with other team members to ensure that all aspects of the project were aligned and met the client’s needs.

In addition to these responsibilities, I also oversaw the creation of rendering and marketing materials to showcase the project This involved working with graphic designers and marketing specialists to create visually appealing materials that accurately represented the project

Throughout the project, I faced various challenges such as meeting tight deadlines and ensuring that all elements of the design were up to code However, through effective communication and collaboration with my team members, we were able to overcome these challenges and deliver a successful project

4 STARS HOTEL

YEAR 2017

LOCATION Abha, Saudi Arabia

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As the design lead architect of this project, I was responsible for developing the conceptual design of a hotel with 105 suites located in Abha My vision for the project was to create a design that seamlessly blended the traditional architecture of Abha with modern elements To achieve this, I led a team of talented architects and engineers and coordinated the development of detailed design drawings

Throughout the project, I worked closely with my team to ensure that every aspect of the design was carefully considered and executed to the highest standard. The result was a stunning hotel that perfectly captures the essence of Abha while also offering all the amenities and comforts of a modern luxury hotel

This project was a great success and I am proud to have played a key role in its design and execution It was a truly rewarding experience to see my vision come to life and to have contributed to the development of such a beautiful and unique hotel

LOCATION Muzahmiya, Saudi Arabia

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a project architect for this job, I was responsible for developing the conceptual design of a 150-suite resort One of the main challenges I faced was to simulate traditional architectural vocabularies while providing high-end finishes for both the interior and exterior. Additionally, the site terrain presented another challenge as the building is placed on the side of a hill Despite these challenges, I was able to successfully design a resort that met the needs of our clients and guests

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As the project architect for this project, I played a crucial role in developing the design drawings I worked closely with both the client and operator to ensure that the various project facilities met their needs and expectations In addition to this, I coordinated with a team of experts from various disciplines to develop the construction drawings. This involved ensuring that all required drawings and documents were prepared and submitted for approval at various stages of maturity My role required me to be highly organized and detail-oriented, as well as being able to effectively communicate and collaborate with others
