Camille and Debra Samara are honored to welcome Houston artist David Graeve to SAMARA Gallery. Direct Action, a solo exhibition of new work by international acclaimed artist David Graeve. This exceptional exhibition explores the innovative approach Graeve utilizes to create work. Direct Action, Social Activism, Sculpture, and Performance are combined to create social dialogue and subject matter. Graeve’s highly original artistic approach to activating a surface will use Houston as a canvas for a citywide installation. This consciousness raising public art installation will bring current political and cultural issues to the forefront of our conversation. Direct action and other activist tactics will be the brush to apply this installation. This show is highly innovative and unique it’s conceptual approach to gathering subject matter and playing with the viewers perspective Graeve’s well rounded and diverse approach to creating art happenings will be highlighted throughout the run off this Show with staged happenings in various and diverse locations throughout Houston.

About Us SAMARA Gallery is located at Isabella Court at the intersection of Main and Isabella in Houston’s fast growing Midtown and less than a mile from Houston’s Museum District.
