The start of WALK TOGETHER BRISBANE had deep cultural significance. Historically, Kurilpa (place of the water rats) was the meeting point for First Nations gathering on Turrbal country and was the crossing point of the river to Meanjin (Brisbane). So it is very fitting that we gathered at Kurilpa Point, walking in the shadow of such rich history.
