They prepare their picture by Photoshop for printing so that their quality of printed photograph is closely matched with onscreen image.
Steps: 1. At first Install Photoshop on your PC. After Installing, open your image and prepare the necessary adjustments to the contrast, brightness and depth of color and saturation. You can do it by using the appropriate tools. You should make adjustments so that the image quality is improved and closely match with onscreen image. . 2. Before making print you should decide on the size of the print. You can do it by Clicking “Image and Image Size" and uncheck "Resample Image." It is necessary to adjust the resolution which should be least 180 pixels per inch. So you can print a maximum size of your file. For sharper and crisper image the pixel should be240 Pixels per inch. If your file is large enough, then recheck the "Resample Image" box, and try to set the resolution to 180 or 240 pixels per inch and also the width or the height which
matches your paper size. After completing this, Click "OK,” Then the size of the file to properly adjust and the proper resolution also matched which you choose. 3. Try to Sharpe your image correctly for the slight softening which happens when ink is absorbed into the paper at the time of printing. Besides getting to a point where the image actually looks slightly too sharp on the screen, you can use your favorite sharpening tools , or alternatively, use "Smart Sharpen" and "Lens Blur" .Then adjust Amount in 100 percent and set Radius at 0.3 pixels. 4. Then Select "View-Proof Setup-Custom" and in the pop-up, now choose your printer and paper profile from the Device to Simulate list. Also you should select "Perceptual" as the Rendering Intent, you should leave Black Point Compensation checked and also try to check "Simulate Paper Color." You can download the printer/paper profiles from the paper manufacturer's web site. Also look at image quality when printed. Generally a computer screen is backlit and can show pure white with ease. So If you show your image on screen the it look duller which is not you expect. It is occurring because a print reflects light from the surroundings, so you cannot see proper brightness. 5. To bring back some of the contrast, add a curves adjustment layer which is lacking in the print. Then Select "Linear Contrast" as the present. It is necessary to keep in mind that, you are trying to create a pleasing image on the screen which will represent the final printed image. If you want to enhance the colors, then adjust brightness and add more color saturation. At last save your work saves and give a name. Now you can print your save work. Besides, you should remember something such as try to reduce the file size, Don’t try to enlarge images more than 200%. It will suffer your print.
