The Town Administrator is the principal liaison and support person for the three-member selectboard and assists the board’s general administration of the Town. The Town of Swanton’s fire and police protection and ambulance services are contracted. The successful candidate will have five to ten years of administrative experience in a municipality or comparably multifaceted organization, excellent oral and written skills, planning and organizing expertise and will work independently. Knowledge of highways, grant writing and administration and human resources management a plus. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Salary range for this 32 hour position is negotiable subject to experience and qualifications and features excellent benefits.
