Georgia Plains remains a quiet area with some significant historical buildings. At one point there was a saw mill and grist mill in town. A drive down Stone Bridge Road allows sights of the Georgia Plains Baptist Church, Georgia Plains Cemetery and a gorgeous long stone wall. The church was originally built in 1847, but was then destroyed by fire in 1886 and reconstructed. This building still stands today. Further exploration provides classic Vermont views.
