REBEL Sam I am
Being from my traditional Hispanic background I strived not to be like anyone in my family. For my family it could be seen as disobedience in my eyes I saw myself as someone who was marching to the beat of my own drum. In my image it’s a foot that’s about to break an old desk. This for me is a form of metaphor for myself. In a more metaphoric sense I’m rebelling those old traditions that were taught while siting at a desk. Being a rebel is more than being titled as a troublemaker or badass it is someone who doesn’t conform to what we as a society want us to be. We give a new meaning to rebel without a cause. Our cause is follow who we are. Not fall into the norm everyone is so desperate to be in. To the rebels out there don’t accept something because an authority tells you to. Question authority and determine for yourself.
