01 Curriculum Vitae
02 Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park
Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park is an economic development project on a nationally significant scale. It is the regeneration of approximately 200 acres of the Lower Don Valley industrial area in Sheffield, close to the Meadowhall Shopping Centre and the M1, and a short distance from the City Centre. The vision for Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park is to establish a modern research and business park dedicated to organisations in the health, wellbeing, sport and activity sectors. It sets out to capitalise on the existing sports and health related institutions in the area, providing a focused working and social environment to help growing businesses in this field.
04 Sackerville Terrace
A barn-inspired family home, simple in form with linear proportions. Located within a settlement in North East Derbyshire and nestled on a constrained garden plot. The brief was to create a well consider dwelling to the rear of the current property that drew Inspiration from the local vernacular through its built form and materiality. With a new addition to the family expected in the coming months, the aim was to design a bespoke four-bed family home that was modest in size but comfortable enough to provide enough space for their growing family.
06 Springfield Road
A single-story extension to a characterful, stone-built Victorian terrace property located within one of Sheffield’s leafy suburbs. The project aimed to provide a light open-plan addition to the rear of the property which could be used as a functional entering space with an improved connection to the property’s garden. The projecting structure which wrapped around the existing offshoot kitchen was designed with subtlety in mind, using natural materials to help ground the extension between a smattering of mature trees both within and surrounding the development site.
08 Station Approach
A 178-bedroom student accommodation in the heart of Hereford. The site comprises some 0.9 acre of previously developed brownfield land, situated off Hereford’s new City Link Road on a prominent site with direct access to Hereford’s grade II listed railway station. Following the demolition of a hardware store and the surrounding road network, the site was purchased by Hereford Council for use as car parking for the nearby station. The aim behind the development is to provide Hereford’s College of Arts with its first purposemade student residential building located mid-way between its teaching and learning campuses and the city centre.
10 Northfield House
The project comprises the conversion and development under permitted development rights of two existing and adjoining office blocks located in Southend-on-Sea, with the intent to be re-launched as luxury residential apartments. The design focused on the reconfiguration of the internal footprint with the addition of a two story roof extension situated across both blocks delivering a total of 92 apartments.
12 Dunn Works
Dun Works, is a residential development located in Kelham Island, an industrial conservation area in central Sheffield. The site was formerly occupied by a complex of individual, industrial low-rise buildings used for various manufacturing processes. Our task was to enhance and develop a design to fit with current market requirements which originally gained planning approval in 2006. Following a number of initial appraisals we were able to satisfy the client and planners to provide 219 new homes for South Yorkshire Housing Association, with the addition of restoring an existing listed metal works kiln also located within the site.
14 Victoria Park
Victoria Park housing development comprises 200 residential dwellings on a former brown-field site which was previously home to the Victoria Football Ground.

VICTORIA PARK

Victoria Park housing development comprises 200 residential dwellings on a former brown-field site which was previously home to the Victoria Football Ground. The site had lain vacant for the past 20 years and had a reputation for being the worst part of the river Trent which previously ran through the site. In addition to the 200 new dwellings, works undertaken as part of the development included the construction of a new river channel, which has diverted and changed the course of the river Trent, public open space, and sports pitches for the nearby school.
