About Illustration for me is a result of interactions, the interactions of ideas, and mysteries. I love thinking about this relationship on both sides, An informational illustration that improves understanding of content, also an illustration with hidden layers in the subject that made me ask, How? I prefer to define myself as an illustrator, storyteller, and dreamer. Additionally, I like to learn and experience various techniques, both hand-drawn and digital. Also, have a dream, I wanted to be an Integrated Artist.

A simple life of a butterfly A simple life of a butterfly is not a frame for Wonderland stories nor pure creativity. It’s an illustration that is admiring a simple but memorable moment of the butterfly’s daily experience.

KHATTI A book about the Line.
This is an informational illustrated book about teaching a series of lines. KHATTI is the name of the main character in the book, which means Line in the Persian language. This book has a unique way of introducing a line to children. Initially, a child sees the character’s line of action, which is related to the poetry of Khatti, and the name of the line that has been introduced on each page, which is completely different from knowing that as a trace line. The second, Is an interaction idea behind the book. The consistency of the idea in pages with KHatti’s character made him a good friend. The child loved to show the action with his body which helped him to remember the differences. The idea of the book started with a poem that I wrote during my summer classes at Kanoon, and I made a snake doll and show my students how he reacts to the poem. They found him funny and engaging. I saw how some of my kids like to shape the doll while listing the poem or showing me the action with their body movement, So I think maybe it’s a good idea to put it all together in one book.

A busy Clown at work This project was a self-led picture book based on a short story that I wrote. I am a person with a smile on my face. I love the way I look but during work, I had to keep myself serious so that I could do what I have to in a way that was as expected. After a while, I had a feeling of a loser who has lost her smile for nothing. I got mad at myself, and then I illustrated a character, A clown with a drum that spreads smiles in the air, and animals coming out of his drum madly, and performed on a smiling stage, the stage for making a busy life happy again. This book was aimed at an audience of children in Key stage 1 and explored the themes of workaholism following the character of a clown and his drum who is trying to find his smile. I wanted the book to be both enjoyable and educational for children to read and also visually appealing.

The idea of being connected to society is always an important question for me, The fact of being involved with or connected to someone or something. The idea of being safe but not truly connected and variations in this idea. In this illustration, I want to show the relations and connections under the sea metaphorically. So I drew 38 characters and digitally collaged them in photoshop.

ECLIPSE This is an illustration of imagining marvelous things that already exist and happens twice a year. In this illustration, the eclipse serves a key role that causes the idea of change and transformation. In legends, making changes in one’s behavior may appear once or twice in her or his life if one’s were so lucky. (The idea of making changes was completely different these days science has explained few stages for behavior changes). I have created an occasion when the sun disappears from view and magic comes out, In this illustration. I have started illustrating the characters while I was in love with illustrations of “The Wonders of Creation”(Abu Yahya Zakariya’ ibn Muhammad al-Qazwini; ‘Wonders of the Seven Seas’ section of ‘Aja’ib al-makhluqat waghara’ib al-mawjudat).
I studied how to combine two-character in one then I draw my kind of Hybrid characters. In this picture, characters were illustrated as floating moments in the atmosphere. All characters were designed in a unique hand-drawn grid, with a Uni pin pen, then I scanned, and edited them digitally in photoshop.
