GEOMETRY Based on the 1st floor plan view, we can see the geometry of the office, which is symmetrical. By the vertical light grey boxes, we can see that the geometry is divided into five equal parts. By the horizontal dotted lines, 3 equal parts are divided, and the entire office can be represented by several identical square grids, which tells that the geometry of the office is very rectilinear in shape, which has stabilized spatial experience.

INTERIOR SPATIAL EXPERIENCE
PUBLISHED IN LATE 2018
No matter where the visitors are in, they will find the space enormous and open. This is because of the simple design by Mies Van Der Rohe. With” Less is More” as his main idea for this office building, he just used a few amounts of columns to support the roof, and at the same time, making all facade with windows, as a result creating a wide but bright space, which makes visitors feel free and comfortable. What’s more, the usage of different color creates a great contrast on the office floor. The black I beams and the white ceiling and floor, and the single and double height spaces in the middle of the office building, creates contrast in terms of color and space respectively.
