Background research survey Why? Why do we make a surveys and/or questionnaires? Because making a survey can allow us to get hands on information about what the audience want to see and it also makes our job a lot easier. These give us information about who are watching videos of this genre or form. This can make our job of creating the music video allot easier, and helps us know that we will always appealing to someone. Our Survey We've created our own survey on the website 'SurveyMonkey', which is an online questionnaire website which allows users to freely create and fill in surveys, we also advertised our survey for people to fill out on Facebook, Google+ and Tumblr.
Results
Analysis: After we received all of our data from the participating people filling in our musical questionnaire we would have to analysis all of the recordings to best understand what the audience we are appealing to most enjoy to watch. Question 1,2,3 - These three questions do not matter as much as other questions in this survery, but out of the three, the third would tell us the most about our audience, primarily who our audience consist of age wise. Question 4 and 5 - these would most likely be crucial in our song and video decision, if we chose the most unpopular genre in our age range we would not be able to engage with the audience that would be the largest. Question 7 and 10 - These are to understand what needs to be focused on during our music video, how would the audience like to view the artist, and how what would they most like to be seen during our music video, we understood that placing our artist in a suit would open up a whole idea which we would eventually base our entire music video around with the social view of the country.
