In order to assure access to the programs and services by those without the means to bear their full cost, the Cleveland County Family YMCA commits to raising contributed resources and continues to seek alternate ways to serve less fortunate community members.

• Increase annual giving to include endowment growth • Increase effectiveness of program volunteers • Increase effectiveness of policy volunteers • Increase contributed revenue annually by 1% • Commit to easier access for financial assistance program recipients • Increase awareness of Strong Communities financial assistance program to community/schools/churches • Identify grant opportunities and take advantage of funding public/private agencies • Successfully complete 2008 Strong Communities campaign • Determine alternate ways to identify less fortunate members of the community other than current YMCA users • Develop marketing and communication plan to enhance image of the YMCA • Increase staff and volunteer involvement in the Strong Communities campaign • Increase training and development of staff and volunteers in the area of financial development

The Cleveland County Family YMCA will be the primary leader in creating strategic partnerships that advocate community wellness by leading a coalition of multiple organizations.
