LANDBACH

Strasbourg, Rhine Industrial Complex

Land + Bach

Soil + Water

On the banks of the river Rhine an old industrial complex became the focus of a new living district.

Strasbourg’s focus on ecological transition in recent years has questionned the use of previously poluted sites such as these.

One walkway to connect a whole district.

COMPLEX DENSITIES

Girgaon, Mumbai KRVIA Partnership

In the shadow of the highrise lies millions of independant lives. How will Mumbai respond to it’s rising population and increasing social inequalities?

I was confronted to the reality of these inequalities, with a first hand experience in this urban jungle of a city. Collaborating with the KRVIA institue and with fellow students. Our aim was to quantify the current density of the city and bring a sustainable long term solution for it’s ever growing urban plan.

The use of software such as Rhino with Grasshopper were essential to create the parameteres of research and excecution of the design proposal.

A parametric approach to urbanism.

An urban walkway is born.

A sustainable urbanism?

CARE DESIGN

Paris, innovative solutions studio.

How do architects collaborate with NGOs?

Care Design studio aimed to answer this question as we explored multiple facets of the French Red Cross.

With our goal of bringing to life a modular shelter solution that can be deployed under multiple use cases.

During this studio, the Red Cross volunteers and heads communicated their needs as we created our proposal.

Manual assembly and 1:1 scale experimentation

Temporary shelter solutions in perspective.

RESTORING ÖREN

Turkey, post-disaster case study in eastern anatolia, master’s final jury.

What is the role of an architect in disaster response?

This question guided the integral thought process of a research-based project presented on the 25th of September 2024. An exploration of my heritage in Turkey and a realisation of the difficulties faced in reconstructing post-disaster.
