Adopt a Word
The Brief The Adopt a word website encourages people to choose a word and donate money to own the word for a year. The money goes towards helping children in the UK.
Considerations Print considerations- stock, colours etc. Needs to meet the postal standards but at the same time being innovative and creative? Brand to work over print and web.
Concept/Proposition To rebrand the charity Adopt a Word incorporating the use of typography and letterform into the design and format of the products and brand. Develop a new brand identity for the charity Adopt a Word focusing on how the brand works over both web and print. The resolution should be the brand and the range of products stemming from this, which are to include a congratulatory publication for people that subscribe to multiple words. Further development on the brand can include the various products such as the merchandise. Mandatory Requirements On going visual investigation using the relevant blogs to document my work. Target Audience Typographers and type enthusiasts. People interested in words and literature.
