82nd Annual Rodeo Parade Regardless of the weather, the San Angelo Rodeo Parade is a long standing tradition of the Annual Stock Show & Rodeo. The Parade Committee works tirelessly to line-up parade entries from wagons to marching bands, and riding groups to floats. The parade is one of the largest held annually in San Angelo and always a favorite of spectators. The parade is held in downtown San Angelo. The specific parade route will begin at Irving and Concho St., proceed East to Oakes, Left on Oakes to Twohig, Left on Twohig, proceed to Chadbourne, Right on Chadbourne to College St., Left on College to Irving, Left on Irving to Beauregard, Right on Beauregard to Randolph, Left on Randolph to River Drive and dismiss. The parade is televised on both KLST-TV and KSAN-TV!

Championship Cook-Off Feb. 21 - Feb. 22 1st Community Federal Credit Union Spur Arena Four person teams (one person must be Head or Chief Cook). Each team will submit only one entry in the required Beef Brisket division. There are also optional categories (such as Pork Spare Ribs, Chicken, and Jalape単o Poppers). The entry fee for competition is $400 per team. All entries must be submitted by Feb. 1, 2014 to the San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo Association. Spectators are invited to visit the cook-off area and sample a variety of offerings from the teams entered. Donation jars are set-up at each of the pits, and the team with the most donations receives free entry to the event the following year. All donations benefit the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Foundation fund!

Once you get your fill you will then cruise on over to the Foster Communications Coliseum to help the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo kick off with the first rodeo performance of 2014! Tickets will be priced at $75 per person and this will include the hor d’oeuvers, wine tasting, and admission into the rodeo. Association works hard to bring the best attractions to the fairgrounds during the annual event for guests of all ages. Every kid and kid at heart looks forward to the carnival coming to town every year and the Bill Hames Show promises to bring the best of rides for spectators! And, it wouldn't be much a rodeo without the mechanical bull and the adrenaline rush of the Sling Shot!
