THANKSGIVING BREAK CAMP

Ages K-5th Instructor: Recreation Staff Join our enthusiastic staff for a lively and entertaining mix of activities during Thanksgiving Break! We will offer a safe space for children to get creative and spend time with friends while playing games, doing projects, and enjoying the outdoors as much as possible. Care is available from 9:00am-4:00pm.

THANKSGIVING BREAK SEWING CAMP

Ages K-5 th Instructor: Halleh Besharati All sewing levels welcome! Together we will sew festive and fun projects to celebrate Thanksgiving. The students will learn basic stitching skills and use kid friendly patterns to cut, design, and sew cozy felt leaf pillows, an apron, placemat, and quilted table runner . Lots of orange, yellow, and gold fabrics will be available to choose from and each student will create at least one masterpiece they will be proud of. All materials are included in the price of the class.

FALL BREAK CAMP—CARPENTRY FOR KIDS

Grades K-6th Instructor: Nat Davis Carpentry for Kids classes are designed to teach practical woodworking skills, with an emphasis on the safe use of hand tools. Students will have an opportunity to create fun, functional and beautiful projects, measuring, sawing, rasping, sanding, drilling, fastening, as they develop the valuable skills of problem solving, craftsmanship, fine motor skills, respect for tools, and patience. This class is designed to advance the skills of all students, so it's great for experienced carpenters, and beginners alike. $40 materials fee due to instructor upon first class.
