America

America is a beautiful land with a resilient people. We awaken daily to the opportunity of making ourselves better by helping others get to their next best place in life. The American Dream stirs inside us with a yearning resolve to be a good people who do good work by reaching our God given potential. Sometimes we can lose sight of this in the midst of our currently fussy culture. We can get good things done when it’s not easy.

Throughout America, there are symbols such asMt. Rushmore. Four American leaders whose faces are chiseled on a mountain side because Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Roosevelt helped America face seemingly insurmountable odds so the Dream could live on. And nearby is the monument of the Lakota Indian leader Crazy Horse who reminds us to strive forward in a way that unites us – a common people with different backgrounds so everyone can see how we can succeed in a land of freedom. Lord help us to make it so.
