The vision is to provide an experience to the users that reflects the local culture of the community which also assists in bringing and binding people of the community together. This is envisioned through a series of spatial relationships and with sustainable design.

The community centre is an integral part of the designed township that is inclusive of all people irrespective of their socio-cultural background. It not only acts as a hub for community gathering but also a learning hub that leads to the holistic development of the society. It puts special focus to the cultural aspect of the context and has been designed to bind the people together.
SITE
PRE PRIMARY SCHOOL THE BREIF:-
To design a pre-primary school consisting of 40 students in the age group 3-6 years, also catering to the students with special needs. The architecture of the extension to the pre existing primary school in Lady Irwin College seeks to blend into its surrounding by the use of same material i.e Brick, and strategically placed openings carefully frame view corridors. The organisation of the floor plan creates exciting spaces that dwell into the existing school. The balanced use of conoid vaults capturing the north light and the use of self shading facades space make this small school extension.

BIOINSPIRATION - Starrsh is an astonishingly unique, resilient and special creature that has one of the best regeneration processes in nature. With multiple kinds of regeneration present the ones that were suitable for use was the Disk-Dependent Bidirectional regeneration. In this regeneration starrsh are capable of regenerating a full starrsh when less than half of the original starrsh is intact, given that all or just a part of the central disk is present.
Strucutre- RHINO + GRASSHOPPER The pavillion is divided into three constituent parts; the primary, the secondary and the drouble layered terracotta tiles. The primary circular hollow sections are of 50mm radii whereas the secondary circular hollow sections are of radii 20mm. The terracotta tiles are laid in an interlocking pattern inorder to increase its strength and ease the drainage of water and ice, thus making this structure suitable for all climates.
