Bake a Smile At Bake a Smile I baked snickerdoodle cookies to give to my mothers coworkers. The service project was to spread positivity during these tough times through delicious cookies! I really enjoyed this event because baking is one of my favorite hobbies and it was fun that I got to bake with other people, but virtually of course. To give back to others (that) I know work so hard, truly made me feel like I was baking a difference! -Morgan Fu, San Benito, Historian
Sweet Lullaby Sweet Lullaby was a service event where the participants took turns reading parts of a children’s book that could be recorded and condensed into a video to be shared with teachers for their class. I had a lot of fun reading Dr. Seuss. It brought me back to my childhood and I’m so glad I could share that with other children.

“Paint the Town service project SUYEON HWANG’S was a fun and relaxing experience. ROCKS This service project was to paint MORGAN FU’S rocks that we found either in our ROCKS backyard or front yard and write a JOVANNA positive message on it. Then we HUERTA’S ROCK would put it somewhere in our (PICTURED ON PAGE 2) community. I was able to paint 4 N I C O L E A L C A L A N ’ S rocks and I am going to have my mom take them to put them in the ROCKS office to brighten up a staff MARISSA E S C A M I L L A ’ S R O C K members day.” (FRONT PAGE) -Nicole Alcalan, San Benito, Key KAYLA SALAZAR’S Club Member ROCKS
