He is the embodiment of a hands-on leader; Gaurav Sindhi, the General Manager of Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa, is known simply as “Mr. G”. He rivals the energizer bunny. From hauling luggage during departure to collecting used glasses on the pool deck in the midday sun, Mr. G is always on the move and always leading by example. His energy is second to none and he is as sharp as a razor; he can tell you everything that’s happening on the resort and the name of every team member.

The Inside Scoop
1. He has an insatiable sweet tooth. Drop by his office and you’re sure to find a bowl of sweets to dip into. His favorite candy is the Cadbury Fruit & Nut. Ironically, despite his love for sweets, he is not a fan of junk food.
2. His favorite drink is Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee which he absolutely enjoys. He loves the combination of its rich aroma and bold taste. No matter where in the world Mr. G travels to, he only reaches for Blue Mountain. 3. He has a travel bug. It all began after finishing High School. Mr. G left his native India and has been travelling the world ever since. From Australia to North America, Mr. G has visited every continent on the planet except Antarctica, which, unsurprisingly, is on his bucket list. His philosophy is “the world is too small not to see it.”

4. He comes from a military family. His father served as a doctor in the Indian Air Force. While his family may have wanted him to follow in his father’s footsteps, Mr. G choose to follow his passion.
