Modi warns of ‘Andolan Jeevis’

They are the Andolan Jeevi. You will find them at the protests of lawyers, students, workers and farmers.

Actor Rajiv Kapoor Dies At 58

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Rajiv Kapoor died at 58 on Tuesday. Sister-in-law Neetu Kapoor posted a photo of the actor on social media and wrote: “RIP.” Rajiv Kapoor, who was also a film producer and director, was the youngest son of the legendary Raj Kapoor, and the brother of Randhir Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor, all actors and filmmakers. Rishi Kapoor died last year. The Ram Teri Ganga Maili actor suffered a heart attack at his residence in Chembur following which he was rushed to Inlaks Hospital. HiIndia Newsdesk Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s daughter Harshita Kejriwal allegedly lost ₹34,000 to a fraudster while trying to sell a second-hand sofa set on OLX. The buyer asked her to scan two QR codes to transfer the agreed amount of sofa in her account. On scanning the codes, she lost ₹34,000 in two installments - first ₹20,000 and then ₹14,000.

Twitter on Tuesday said it is seeking formal dialogue with the Information Technology Minister after the government ordered it to take down 1,178 accounts for allegedly spreading misinformation around farmers’ protests. The microblogging platform also noted that safety of its employees is a top priority.

The total fund for construction of Ram Janmbhoomi temple in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya has reportedly crossed ₹600 crore in 20 days, according to the trustees of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The Trust started the mass contribution campaign for the construction of the temple in Ayodhya on January 15. The fund campaign will run till February 27.

US President Joe Biden during an interview with CBS said that Chinese President Xi Jinping “doesn’t have a democratic bone in his body”. Biden described Xi as “very bright” and “very tough”. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin refused to comment on Biden’s remarks and said, “China is committed to developing a relationship with the US that is nonconflictual.”
