Washington: US President Joe Biden is understood to have invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a state visit this summer, news agency PTI reported.
The invitation has been accepted in principle and officials on both sides are now working on mutually convenient dates, according to multiple sources, who noted that it is currently in the early stages of logistical planning.

The company has confirmed that it will continue to offer free-touse ChatGPT, and the new Plus variant is meant for those who want a bit more from ChatGPT. With a monthly subscription charge of $20, the ChatGPT Plus is currently limited to the US, and more countries will be added in the near future. In the meantime, OpenAI will also start inviting the people who are currently on the waiting list to the ChatGPT Plus program. According to the company, the new subscription plan will help them to support free access and availability of the ChatGPT to as many people as possible.
New Delhi: Opposition parties on Thursday demanded an investigation by a parliamentary panel or a Supreme Court-appointed committee into allegations of fraud against the Adani Group that have triggered an unprecedented stock crash. The parties also demanded the suspension of regular parliament proceedings to discuss the risk to Indian investors from the continued slide in shares of the Adani Group following fraud claims by US short-seller Hindenburg Research. Gautam Adani’s business empire, which counts the state-run Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) and the State Bank of India among key investors, has lost more than $100 billion in value since the charges were made public.
