Telangana RTC to introduce AC sleeper buses next month

on Monday.

These buses will initially be operated to destinations like Bengaluru, Hubbali, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, and Chennai.

TSRTC Vice-Chairman and Managing Director V.S. Sajjanar on Monday inspected a prototype of the AC sleeper bus at Bus Bhavan here. He enquired with the officials about different features of the vehicle and directed them to take steps to introduce these buses as soon as possible.

Hyderabad: (IANS) In another move to provide quality services to commuters, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) will introduce air-conditioned sleeper buses from next month.

Minor girl raped by two persons at Mailardevpally

Hyderabad: A minor girl was raped allegedly by two persons at Mailardevpally on Sunday.

The incident came to light on Tuesday after the victim lodged a complaint with the police. According to the police, the victim who is from Dabeerpura was taken to Vattepally in Mailardevpally on Sunday by her male friend on pretext of a long drive. The friend along with his cousin later sexually assaulted the victim at a house.The girl later returned to her house at Dabeerpura and informed her parents about it. The family approached the Dabeerpura police who registered a ‘zero FIR’ and transferred the case to Mailardevpally. The police are investigating.

According to officials, this is the latest offering from the TSRTC, which recently introduced new super luxury, non-AC sleeper and seater-cum-sleeper buses.

Like non-AC sleeper, the AC sleeper buses have been named Lahari. With a length of 12 metres, the AC sleeper bus has 15 lower and 15 upper berths. Provision has been made to keep water bottle beside the berth. Mobile charging facility has also been provided near the berth.

Telangana urged the Tungabhadra Board to stop the diversion immediately.

Hyderabad real estate most affordable among metros in country

KTR calls for timebound dispute redressal

Hyderabad: With the world looking at the China-plus-1 strategy or India for the rest kind of strategy, Industries Minister KT Rama Rao stressed on the need for introducing long-lasting reforms and ensuring dispute redressal in a time-bound manner.

The Minister said with Telangana being ranked top in terms of Ease of Doing Business, the State government was now focusing on improving the quality of doing business and reducing the cost of doing business. Reduction of cost and time and earning goodwill, this was all part of industrial relations. The Telangana government was more focused on ensuring that there were more satisfied customers with early dispute redressal, he said.
