Mormon Battalion Historic Site 2510 Juan St. 619-298-3317 Learn about the journey of the Mormon Battalion as they marched nearly 2,000 miles from Iowa to San Diego with the U.S. Army. Visitors can try on period clothing, pose for a Battalion-themed family photo and even pan for gold. Admission is free.
