"We believe in our ancestors," said Xhosa man Sandile Matebese, who was attending yet another event to celebrate Mandela's life at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth, in the Eastern Cape.

The provincial memorial service was held at one of the 2010 World Cup Stadium. At the region after whom was named after, the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium situated at the Nelson Mandela Bay metropolitan region, it was an unbelievable event, a programme under the directorship of the famous radio personality. Umhlobo Wenene,s Breakfast Radio Show anchor, and the motivator, Putco Mafani, who had encouraged the crowds who had come as far as Umtata, and as far as Lesotho, and all had been so moved after it was announced that, the Memorial Service of the great man of courage, will take place at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Nelson Mandela 2010 World Cup stadium in the city affectionately called the friendly city, that is Port Elizabeth. Amongst journalists who attended the memorial service was Paul Toohey, from Australia, who

Another remarkable event was an interview with another local resident, and an employee of the Port Elizabeth based Customer Care official Mr. Sandile Matebese, who after a series of questions in a free and moving interview. probing questions answered in this fashion

"If you die, it is not the end of yourself," he said. "We call our almighty god Qamatha. Because our ancestors are the closest to god, we appeal to our ancestors to relay messages to almighty god."

Mr Matebese said Mandela would become a potent ancestral figure to Thembu and Xhosa people more generally. He also said he believed that future generations would rank Mandela with Jesus Christ, being ordinary men who became exceptional.

Madiba is the father of all nationalities, and such a departure of a great man of his stature, has to leave a lesson for the leaders to peruse, as the humility in Madiba’s character and his charisma took the whole world by great storm.

"They have to appease the ancestors, telling them, 'We are sending one of your sons to you,'" Mr Matebese. "He will become part of the spiritual family, he will be joining the kingdom of the Thembu tribe." Here above Fieldmore Mapeto and Gerald Fundani, share a great moment of giving back political and humanitarian honours and accolades to this great fallen hero of our time. This inaugural issue of My Leader also includes photos of the Eastern cape crowds and masses, who at all material times and space, felt that the lyrics of the praise song “Akekh’ofana naye” in Sesotho the song says “A oena le tsana le eana” which says “There is nobody like Mandela ever”…… Paul Toohey of Australia News gave a very touching tribute to the Australians, where, he also shared with Australians, the greif, and the agony shared by South Africxans across colour lines.

Opportunities created by this (Mandela) dispensation, made My Leader Magazine Team to dedicate this inaugural issue to Madiba.

This event was graced by the presence of massed choral groups including the Matthews Singers, Sounds Of The South and other local choirs under the baton of Ms Ntombovuyo Cekiso, with an extr-ordinary rendition of the South African National Anthem, (originally a song composed by Enoch Sontonga) in a big way that really befits a statesman like Madiba.

Bay TV, and KQ FM personality, Percy Lamani, has been amongst the busiest people in the stadium, he kept the audience alive with interviews, on their opinions of losing Madiba, and How a country like South Africa, feels about such a loss of such a great leader in Mandela.

Hereunder, citizens of the Eastern Cape province and other visitors to the city could not miss such an event, as a some were affixing their signatures in the book of pledges prepared by the organisers of this event

Zahara a local singer has been on the stage with her musical group, giving their last respect to this fallen hero, also a duet with Mzwake Mbuli had added some nostalgic moments of Madiba leadership all around the world.

Time could not be a factor, to some local business people, as the mood and the atmosphere demanded unity and oneness amongst everyone present in the event. Madiba has been emulated evrywshere and will always be missed to all,
