Night Poems
STATEMENT
Night for me is a time of quiet reflection, as I contemplate and question life’s contradictions and dualities. In these works I listen to a quiet voice which seeks to create visual tension by exploring dualities via a restricted vocabulary. These images are pared down to the essentials, nothing more, nothing less. I think of them as free verse or visual poems conveying my world view which is inclusive of differing ways of perceiving, where opposites can exist side by side informing each other.
