PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
On behalf of Sandpipers, we would like to welcome you to our 31st Annual Fashion Show & Luncheon. We are thrilled to have local design house MISA as our partner. Not only have they put together this amazing show, they have also provided the beautiful centerpieces on the table.
The Fashion Show is one of Sandpipers largest fundraisers and helps contribute to the over $200,000 we will gift out to the Southbay community through our Philanthropic programs such Back To School Shopping, Holiday Baskets, Casework and Scholarship. No fundraising would be possible without the countless hours put in by our membership and we are so grateful.

We would like to thank our wonderful leadership team during this event: our Director of Fashion Show, Dana Washington, Sponsorships VP, Allyson Barrio, Fundraising VP, Ho Min Um, Marketing VP, Alex Mandas, Director of Public Relations, Caitlin O’Hara, and Finance VP, Kim Fukamoto. We are so grateful for all of their hard work this year to recreate this fabulous fundraiser.
We also wanted to extend a special thank you to all of our Chairs and committee members who have worked tirelessly to bring this event to life! Our Fashion Show Co-Chairs, Diana Marin and Diane Petersson who have guided their Fashion Show Committee through the planning and execution of this day. Our Auction Committee, led by Co-Chairs Katie Moresi, Heidi-Marie Ferren and Carolina Juliao who have secured all of these amazing silent and live items that have been donated by local business and have created fun and and exciting packages for auction. Our Boutique CoChairs, Linsey Miller and Dahlia Gutierrez, who have curated an amazing group of boutique vendors for an intimate, charitable shopping experience. Thank you to all the vendors, including the MISA pop up boutique, for participating today and generously donating 25% of their total sales back to Sandpipers.
To ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, we have our Boutique Sales Committee, led by Co-Chairs, Susan Rosenthal and Kara Anderson, who work hard to process boutique purchases and their efforts are truly appreciated. We also have our Event Programs Committee & Co-Chairs, Ashley Basmajian and Cailey Marcarelli, who are responsible for the beautiful event program you are reading, highlighting our generous advertisers. If you find yourself visiting one of these businesses, please make sure to thank them for their support!
To our continued sponsors and to our many new sponsors thank you for your generosity, we truly would not be able to do this without you. Thank you to MISA for creating these beautiful unique floral creations that truly capture the essence of MISA.
