Currently neither the Conservative nor Labour Party officially supports legalising cannabis for medical use.

The polling, which follows parliamentary debates on the issue, found that 58 per cent of MPs backed the use of cannabis for people battling health conditions.

Both the Green Party and Liberal Democrats have called for legalisation for medical use for some time. Earlier this year the Lib Dems went a step further, calling for legalisation of recreational use as well.

Those supporting the move include Nick Clegg, the former deputy prime minister, and Dr Dan Poulter, a former health minister and Tory MP.

An estimated one million people in the UK use cannabis for medical reasons, risking arrest and prosecution by buying cannabis from drug-dealers or growing it themselves.

Just 27 per cent of MPs were opposed to legalisation for medical use, the survey found. The poll, conducted by Populus, surveyed a representative sample of 108 MPs, on behalf of VolteFace, a group campaigning for changes public policies on drugs. It found 60 per cent of Labour MPs supported the use of cannabis for medical reasons, along with 55 per cent of Conservatives. Support from the

Scottish National Party was most dramatic, with 88 per cent of MPs in support and none of those polled expressing any opposition. In recent years, studies have increasingly supported the medical value of cannabis for treating conditions such as multiple sclerosis, epilepsy and arthritis, and for dealing with nerve pain.

Last October MPs debated legalisation of cannabis for medical purposes, but it was rejected by justice ministers. Use of cannabis for such purposes is now legal in 25 US states, and Germany recently voted for similar changes. Source: telegraph.co.uk

White Widow Auto

White Widow Auto from Dinafem belongs to an Indicadominant, feminized, autoflowering cannabis strain that originates from the cross of a White Widow and a Critical + Auto. The result is an automatic hybrid that stays true to the original White Widow. White Widow Auto was created to provide an auto cannabis strain that could be grown faster to the advantage of growers living in areas with harsh climatic conditions. It is a stunning, small, hardy, vigorous marijuana plant that flowers fast and produces dense buds covered in a thick layer of resin with major properties. White Widow Auto is well suited to small indoor spaces and allows you to set a discreet crop outdoors thanks to its small size. It enjoys dry, warm, sunny climates as well as the pleasant atmosphere of the greenhouse.

There was a lot of optimism surrounding the 2016 United Nations General Assembly on drugs (UNGASS). There was, it appeared, a growing recognition that the international drug laws don't work, and that with some seismic changes in a number of American States, a general wind of change was blowing As it transpired, it all came back to "business as usual". with a reiteration of the "drug free society" mantra. This is just as much of a nonsense now as it was thirty years ago, but everyone involved seems content to engage in mutual backslapping and communal burying of heads in the sand. The primary stumbling block to any meaningful and significant change appears to be the International Narcotics Control Board (INCB). For those of you who don't know, this is attached to the United Nations and is the body primarily responsible for ensuring that UN edicts regarding drugs (e.g. the 1961 Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs). The INCB regularly overstep the mark and go beyond their remit. They have a tendency to either ignore or misrepresent any research producing positive results around cannabis (particularly medical marijuana) and take a gladiatorial and hectoring approach to any country that tries to break ranks from the traditional war on drugs paradigm. As an example of this in action, first let us consider a country such as Uruguay where (among other things) growing up to six plants at home for one's own consumption has become legal. The then president, Jose Mujica, made it clear that if the experiment looked as though it wasn't working, then Uruguay would revert to the "accepted" means of drug control. The move led INCB boss Raymond Yans to declare that the Uruguayan government had "a pirate attitude" to the UN treaties. On the other hand, in a country such as Bulgaria - where weed is a Class A drug - Yans congratulated the Bulgarian government for implementing a law where possession of small amounts of weed can lead to prison sentences of up to 6 years (up to 15 for dealing). This demonstrates "political commitment and the will to deal with drug abuse" apparently. Interestingly, here in the UK over the past few months, the media appear to have been running a "softening up" campaign. Much of this has focussed on the situation currently being experienced in our prisons which, if the hype is to be believed, is one of drug fuelled near anarchy. It has been made clear that much of the problem stems from the availability of synthetic cannabinoids (the New Psychoactive Substances law notwithstanding) and their now quite widely acknowledged negative side effects. There is, it seems, little or no hope of preventing drugs from getting into prisons, so would it not be better, it is suggested, to let them use proper weed which is a known quantity and at least keeps them quiet? Further changes coming from the "turn a blind eye" policy employed by a number of police forces across the country, even though it's by no means clear as to exactly how much weed they'll turn a blind eye to. Unconfirmed reports further suggest that some elements of the tabloid press in the UK may be preparing to stand behind decriminalisation at the very least, and a range of political and business figures - attracted by the clear economic benefits - likewise. All considered, things looked vaguely hopeful, especially as the EU have made it clear that member states changing their drug laws would not result in any sanctions (at least as far as the EU was concerned). But as of June 2016, all of this is now moot as the UK's misguided decision to leave the EU has put everything else on the back burner. Rather than sever ties with the EU, we should have left the UN. http://druglawreform.info/en/weblog/item/5214-incb-vs-uruguay-theart-of-diplomacy Dr Dee

SEED BANKS

In this new 2016 growing season, the feminised seed bank Sweet Seeds takes pleasure in presenting two new plants that will hopefully gain the favour of all Sweet Seeds cannabis lovers. At Sweet Seeds we pioneered the research and development of modern feminised autos. In the latest seasons, our development efforts were mainly centred on improving our offer of auto-flowering plants by introducing new genetics, aromas, and large-sized autos such as the “Big Devil®” or “XL” families, and by developing red-flowered autos such as “The Red Family”. We also devoted our energies to expanding our quickly blooming photo-period family, “F1 Fast Version®”. For this new season, we present two new varieties, i.e. photoperiod Crystal Candy® (strain SWS58) and another auto-flowering plant, Blow Mind Auto® (strain SWS57).

this plant we used a famous, much appreciated élite clone of Amnesia Haze known as “Amnesia Cordobesa”. To introduce auto genes into this genetics, we used selected cuttings of our 3rd generation S.A.D. Sweet Afghani Delicious Auto® (SWS24), contributing a sweet musky background smell in addition to the required autoflowering genes. This can also be considered a tall auto plant, with final sizes

OTHER NOVELTIES:

To meet the requirements of collective seed purchases and cannabis users’ associations, in the past 2015 season we presented new package formats of 25 and 100 seeds. These were in tremendously high demand among our customers, mainly due to the cheap unit price of seeds. Otherwise said, high-quality, branded feminised seeds were offered at

CRYSTAL CANDY®

A feminised, photoperiod strain. One of the main characteristics of this new genetics is its exquisite and curious aroma. In their long and constant search for new genetics and aromas, our Sweet Seeds breeders introduced élite clones with a terrific candy-shop aroma, a balanced mixture of sweet and fruity smells, with aromatic fruitgumdrop and chewing-gum tones, and a few exotic touches calling to mind sour strawberry and ripe melon. Crystal Candy® is the end result of a programme developed by Sweet Seeds’ I+D+I department to create hybrid genetics by using aromatic élite clones combined with “secret ingredients”. Another key characteristic of this plant is its high resin production with extremely dense, king-sized trichomes whose big heads reach out to flowers, through nearby leaves, like snowy mountain chains. The genetics of this plant is an extremely vigorous and productive IndicaSativa poly-hybrid. Plants branch out on the sides with a certain degree of flexibility making them suitable for

OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS SWEET SEEDS INTRODUCED ÉLITE CLONES WITH A TERRIFIC AROMA SCROG growing. They also produce a strong central stem and buds are big enough to grow into large bunches of flowers that will ultimately cover branches at the end of blooming.

BLOW MIND AUTO®

A feminised 4th generation auto-flowering strain. For the development of

between 60 and 120 cm. Harvesting takes place 8 to 9 weeks after seed germination and the appearance of cotyledons. Blow Mind Auto® genetics is very resinous and productive. Its resin has a pleasant and very complex and deep incense smell, with sweet, musky tones and touches of lemon, wood and dried fruits.

Among the items available in 25-seed and 100seed packages are some of our most famous and appreciated classics, such as Cream Caramel® (SWS04), Cream Caramel Auto® (SWS22), Green Poison® (SWS14), Big Devil XL Auto® (SWS28), etc. This season Sweet Seeds increased the number

THIS CAN BE CONSIDERED A TALL AUTO PLANT, WITH FINAL SIZES BETWEEN 60 AND 120 CM of strains available in these formats. Finally note that, in the previous 2014 season we also presented our “Sweet Mix Auto” package, to offer inexpensive auto seeds of superior quality

suited to meet demand in this current crisis situation. To complete our offer of low-priced high quality seeds, again in the 2015 season we presented a new “Sweet Mix Feminised” package

with an assortment of 10 seeds, randomly selected among all Sweet Seeds photoperiod strains. We wish you a happy harvest and a sweet smoking experience for this new 2016 season.

Big Pharma strikes again! If you cast your minds back to January of this year, you may recall an “incident” in France where a drug trial was being conducted, resulting in five participants being hospitalised in “a serious condition” and another left brain dead. The purpose of the drug trial was vague. At the time, there were rumours of “a cannabis-based drug” being involved, though this was hotly denied by just about everyone involved in the project, including the French health ministry. Jump forward six months and we come across a similar situation (although nobody seems to have been physically harmed) in the U.S. where the plug has been pulled on a number of clinical trials also involving the use of “a cannabis-based drug”, this time for the treatment of PTSD. While there is still something of a question mark over this as well, it’s starting to look very much like a synthetic variant of cannabis has been used. That’s right: synthetic cannabis, the same kind of thing that’s just been made illegal in the UK because of its association with psychotic episodes, schizophrenia and all manner of pretty severe health problems. In America, synthetics have been associated with a number of fatalities. Say what? Why would pharmaceutical companies think that developing something like this might be a good idea? Why indeed: the natural product of the cannabis plant appears to work so well because of some sort of synergy in which all chemical constituents of the plant play a part. It's not just THC or CBD in isolation: all of the others bring something to the party as well.

With synthetics, this synergy is lost.

There have been a few trials run investigating the use of regular cannabis and its effect on PTSD, and the early results of these have been pretty favourable. In case anyone is interested, the illegal status of cannabis in most

countries makes carrying out legitimate medical research a bit tricky, hence there isn’t too much of it going on, but it's now widely accepted that weed has efficacy in the treatment of a wide range of ailments. It seems to me that the answer to the "why" question is pretty simple. Medical marijuana is in the ascendant, and the pharma companies don’t like that one bit, as something that pretty much anyone can grow at home, and that’s shown to be effective for a whole range of ailments is not going to make their profit greedy investors happy. As noted, weed is illegal in most countries. As also noted, weed is pretty easy to grow. Legal weed would be easier still, as it would dispense with the need for hidden grow rooms, lights in the loft and all the subterfuge currently required: people could just grow a plant or two in the garden or in a window box. The problem for the pharmaceutical companies is clear: legalisation would allow ill folks to grow their own and that would be seriously bad for their profit margins. Cannabis, whether natural or made in a lab is still cannabis, and therefore illegal. A cannabis-based drug is not cannabis, and therefore not illegal. Never mind that it seems to cause rather than alleviate health problems: these are minor details, wrinkles to be ironed out. Keeping it illegal causes some inconvenience, but on the other hand, it stops people from growing it themselves, so there's still profit to be made out of illness. It seems Big (bad) Pharma companies just don't get that it's not about a "pure" CBD or THC analog. Sure, the amount of CBD or THC in a plant might be tweaked a bit, but it's about all of the compounds in the plant working together. Experienced and seasoned weed users are aware of this fundamental fact, but it just seems to keep passing money the chasing corporations by. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27296152 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25799920 http://www.nytimes.com/2016/06/28/health/nyu-cannabis-ptsd-psychiatry.html?_r=0

Purple Afghan Kush FRESHNESS AND NOVELTY The Purple Afghan Kush is a reference option for those who want to try a different gene to the usual classic in Europe, both in its aesthetics, and for your palate. Variety coming from Northern California, where two great queens of Kush, the OG Kush and the Bubba Kush meet, which is crossed by the male combining the purple colorings and fruity palate.

Indicates structure

Aspect

and dark stems with thick leaves. It is a good reference for those looking for a plant that besides paying good marijuana, also has a decorative function in an outdoor garden or terrace.

The first major difference comes with its different shades, the purple adjective in its name comes from the color that it acquires, with violet and purple shades. In Europe it is typical that the plants from the blue family need cold to reveal their colorations or do so at

The final part of the name, Afghan Kush, shows the second big difference, because it is a great example of Indica in all its features. Dwarf shrubs tend to form with a solid structure and strong

Palate and effect

In its cultivation it has a sweet and fruity smell, with hints of grape and pineapple. Also is a fairly strong scent, so indoor is recommended to use anti-odor filter is recommended during flowering. This first experience will be shown with the final result, with the fruity and sweet presence. Dense buds, with purple leaves and good resin production. The physical effect invites you to relax and enjoy a peaceful state of being. Its content in cannabinoids is quite high, for example we include in this article a graph that corresponds to the post harvest buds, even though he lacks maturity we can see that it reaches almost 15% of THC, an analysis performed conservatively although well matured specimens and other genotypes may pay higher amounts of THC.

the end of flowering. In the case of the Purple Afghan Kush they are easily shown, usually occur early on in the leaves at the top of the plant, and in the final whorl are retained by the leaves around.

Culture

It is also a plant that responds very well to arid climates. This season a cultivator has tested different varieties in the arid region of California, where there was water rationing due

to drought. She told them that the Purple Afghan Kush is what gave her the best results. For the same reason, if growing in wetlands outside will need special attention, such as the use of preventive and pruning of lower areas that favors air circulation. Inside, when we want to get the best results, should be monitored with excess moisture, especially in

the hours with the lights off during the flowering period. It offers a compact growth with slow branch. It suits extra growing time if indoors, rather than when grown outdoors. To get large plants you should germinate sooner. It is easy to control the height, also responds very well indoors at a limited size, because it

13 does not demand the wild, uncontrolled type Sativa. Once the flowering begins, and goes pretty quickly, you will be ready in about 53 days. It is a plant of small appetite, so does not agree with much fertilization, so when less fertilizer is applied the more it expresses its fruity palate.

Cups in 2015 season

In this season, a testator Dinafem tested the Purple Afghan Kush, along with

other varieties. The cultivation was carried out with attention to all parameters, quality of light, temperature, humidity, adequate irrigation, automation and biodynamic fertilization. You can read the full story Soft Secrets in

Spain, number 2-2015, page 72, available to download or can also look on cannabis.info In the final result of the test, the Purple Afghan Kush highlighted by the aforementioned parameters, a very beautiful purple coloring at the top of the foliage, solid Indica structure, fruity and delicious. Following an internal tasting in Dinafem, the end result convinced them very much, so it was chosen to take part in various competitions of the 2015 season, where won four trophies, prize for the best Indica in Expogrow Irun, 2nd inner prize III Winter Winner, 3rd prize inside Cannabis Champions Cup Malaga and 3rd prize in the indoor tasting Cannamex. It has certainly proven to be a variety that draws attention not only for its cultivation, but also in the tasting, for good resinated, density, sweet taste and the beautiful colors.

Conclusions

A plant that stands out for its pure indica structure, purple and violet hues that come easily, fruity, sweet flavor, and ideal for those who want to cultivate a different variety and beautiful choice.

SAMPLING THE L.A. WEED SCENE IN 2016 Los Angeles is a city with cannabis in its soul. For generations the vibrant melting pot of cultures has produced music, art and movies that have shaped global culture. Much of the inspiration behind these great artistic endeavours will have been fuelled by beautiful Californian herbs. By Baron Wasteland. Although Cannabis is technically illegal at a Federal level nationwide, in Los Angeles you would never know that. It feels like the city has completely accepted it as a positive part of life. INTERRUPTED LIGHT CYCLE I have girls who have had their photoperiod interrupted because of power outages. The power went on and off for several days and finally resumed a steady continuity. The girls were just 3 weeks away from harvest and were showing a promising return. Now they seem to have stalled in there present state. This is breaking my heart because the hairs are all white and the resin was just beginning to coat the tops. I was wondering if I were to leave the light off for a day or two then resume a 12 hr period that perhaps it might reset them and allow them to finish the resin production and produce an viable ending to their life cycle. B. Curtis I think you have a good idea. Turning the light off for a long period and then re-establishing the lighting regime hopefully will reset the plants’ circadian rhythm and get them back to finishing flowering.

EARLY PLANTING I want to prepare my plants indoors and then transplant them outdoors. I don’t want them to start flowering right away. Are there are any techniques to prevent flowering? If I grow them on 18/6 cycle indoors they’ll probably start flowering when I put them out in May when they get only 14 hours of daylight, right? What if I grow them under 14 hours light, 10 hours dark from the beginning? Would they grow or still flower early? Although the information provided by the company suggests that the lamp be installed 1-5 meters, several lamps were attached to a small cart on a track that passed between 50 and 100 centimeters from the plants for about five seconds, daily. The light must shine directly on the spores or organisms to kill them. Any spores sitting in shadow are protected so the light is most effective when the vegetation is not dense. UVC lamps are also used to clean water of molds, bacteria, algae and other infectious agents and pathogens. A stream of water passes through a tube containing the bulb, killing most living organisms. It could be a container the same size filled one third or one half full with planting mix. The roots will colonize the new container, developing a larger system to draw water and nutrients.

OUTDOOR 2016

AN IRISH GROWER’S AUTO ADVENTURE! After 15 years of growing my own indoors, I’ve finally gotten my very first outdoor grow under my belt. Growing marijuana outdoors in the sunlight is not possible under the grey skies of Dublin. So when I moved to a tiny mountain village in the south of Spain, I was on a mission to get my grow on in the sun. I was lucky enough to come across a bargain penthouse apartment with a decent size terrace. Being on the top floor ensured I had some privacy from the public, providing my plants height was less than 1m and the odor not too pungent, then the neighbours wouldn’t notice either. Without the 1% THC, the CBD would not work within the body the same as if combined with THC. The entourage effect can be the decider between the user feeling one sensation like happiness and awareness to feeling sluggish and sleepy. There is a fine balance which is still being researched but I would recommend having a CBD spray around the house or with you on your travels. Making your own edibles and incorporating CBD into your daily diet is highly beneficial in many ways, once you find the happy medium that you can enjoy socially and can operate on at the same time. There are many patients who find consuming an edible has much more medicinal effects compared to smoking or dabbing. With more and more companies emerging trying to break into the edible sector, I asked the chef behind Cheffy Medibles about his views on making the best edibles and getting the most out of the entourage effect by using fruits. “ Started in 2015, with an idea of producing healthy medicated edibles. I knew cannabis like most and was a recreational and social smoker but after experiencing sleeping problems, I started to use in a therapeutic way. In my firsts steps I saw that ingested cannabis is much stronger than when smoked so tried some cookies and brownies recipes, however they expired too soon and often the

However, terpenes are present in everything on the planet from fruits to vegetables to flowers, even to trees and the smells of entire forests. Without smell we could not connect one thing with another so well, therefore terpenes play a big role in society and are as important to humans as the aroma of a flower is to a passing Bee. Terpenes found in nature and cannabis play a much bigger role than we ever imagined on the way our bodies use them. Dr Sanjay Gupta recently made a statement about the way cannabis works once consumed, where his research found that isolated compounds did not work as effective, as when grouped with other terpenes and cannabinoids. “Unlike other drugs that may work well as single compounds, synthesized in a lab, cannabis may offer its most profound benefit as a whole plant, if we let the entourage effect flower,” There are over 480 different compounds present in cannabis ranging from cannabigerol, cannabichromene, nitrogenous compounds, amino acids, ketones, and terpenes. How these all interact with one another is only just being discovered and made commercial knowledge. What is more interesting is how the interaction between the terpenes present in the foods we eat daily and the cannabis we consume, alter the way the cannabis affects our bodies.

The pulp is carefully removed ready to be mixed

The Fruit Roll-ups are a fruit based vegan snack. There are only two ingredients we use and they are fruit and sweetener. In this product the best way to get the most concentrated cannabinoids is to use some dry kief or bubble hash and mix well. Take your favourite fruits in a big jar and then dehydrate enough to touch, similar to a leather texture. The Fruit Roll-ups are oven cooked the whole process is carefully monitored under 41 degrees celsius, so we don’t alter the food’s or cannabis properties. The 35 micron isolator that will be used in this Fruit Roll Up

When I use dry kief from selected strains of our local indoor farmers, I prefer to use under 100 micron mesh screen usually from popcorn sized buds and sugar leaves. This is perfect to concentrate all of the glands and loose some of the original taste. If I use bubble hash my preference is to use a full spectrum extract, from 160 to 25 microns. It is perfect for medical users because its cannabinoids profile increases. Usually our team runs nugget-size buds and sugar leaves for edibles.

There are so many ways to work your edibles. There are other people that need some specific cannabinoids in their body for medical relief and others just want a THC rocket! For all of them we can use differents forms of cannabis as we know. If you’re a newbie to edibles, then you should start with a minimum piece of bud infused in some oil or similar and see how your are effected. We must say effects starts 30 minutes after consumption and don’t stops rising till 60 minutes later, lasting as long as up to 4 to 6 hours, so don’t take it if you must to do serious work or operate heavy machinery for that matter! If you need just CBD, THCA, THCV or the right amount of THC, you could try some concentrated extracts from different cannabis strains and experiment with your own edibles, to see which have the most medicinal effects. As all of us must know, Cannabidiol or CBD is the most known cannabinoid in the world. CBD doesn’t produce psychoactive effects and has multiple medicinal benefits. It is the antagonist of THC, decreasing secondary effects and mixed in a correct ratio, we can see good results in therapy treatment. ” Cheffy Medibles Spain

Square containers fit closely together providing more growing medium per square foot (m2).

Allow 1 to 1.5 gallons (3.8–5.7 L) of soil or soilless mix for each month that a given plant will spend in its container. A 2- to 3-gallon (7.5–11 L) pot supports a plant for up to 3 months. A 3- to 6-gallon container is good for 3 to 4 months of rapid plant growth.

Small Containers

Three-gallon (11 L) containers are ideal for 2- to 3-foot-tall (60–90cm) plants. Larger pots are usually unnecessary because plants grow no longer than a week or two in the vegetative stage

and 6 to 10 weeks flowering. Smaller 3-gallon (11 L) pots are easy to move and handle. Roots also grow less during flowering. By the time a plant is pot-bound, it is ready to harvest. I used to recommend up to a 5-gallon (19 L) container for plants that are harvested after 90 total days of life. I now believe this is a waste. While the smaller containers require daily watering, they produce harvests comparable to those of 5-gallon (19 L) containers.

Large containers outdoors sit on top of the ground, forming a barrier to pests that enter through the soil—such as termites, a problem insect in many gardens.

Large Containers

Mother (stock) plants usually grow larger, longer, and require 5- to 50-gallon (19–190 L) containers when grown in soil. However, mother plants grow quite well in 5- or 10-gallon (19–38 L) hydroponic containers for a year or longer. If you plan to keep a mother plant for more than a few months, grow it hydroponically in its own container for best results.

Root Pruning This root-pruning container diverts root growth with different obstacles on the wall. Note that it also has air holes to air prune roots that are encircling the inside of the container.

Root-Pruning Containers

Root-pruning containers work on a simple principle. Roots tend to grow around and down the inside of containers having a smooth wall. Root-pruning containers place obstacles in the path

Small containers are great for small plants. They are lightweight and easy to handle. Roots soon outgrow small containers; these clones are ready to transplant.

Large containers allow space for root growth as well as biological activity. They are the next best thing to growing in Mother Earth, even indoors

The roots on the left were grown in a smooth-sided 3-gallon (11 L) container. The root mass on the right was grown in the 3-gallon (11 L) root-pruning container above

plants vulnerable to diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies.

Air Root-Pruning Containers

When roots grow to the end of a container with permeable sides and are exposed to air, the root tips stop growing. More feeder roots form along the main stem of the root. Air naturally prunes the tips of roots, and the roots form a dense mass inside the container. Gardeners can make their

Unpruned roots encircle the inside of containers, forming thick masses that are sensitive to temperature changes and will dry out easily. Roots that become dry for long or that cook in hot temperatures will die. Dead roots soon rot, leaving

own permeable air-pruning containers from many different materials, or such containers can be purchased from retail or wholesale outlets.

Uneven surfaces allow for more root growth, and a series of holes permits air to prune roots

Clone and seedling roots are easy to air prune. Holes in air-pruning flats are shaped like a cone with a hole at the bottom. Roots are directed down the container and out the hole in its bottom. The tips of the roots dry out once they come into contact with air, thus pruning them. Use these containers if you must hold clones for a week or longer than you desire.

Chemical Root Pruning

Chemical root pruning controls root growth inside containers. Commercial nurseries have been using chemical root pruning for many years with outstanding results. Uncle Ben, a charter member of the defunct site www.overgrow.com tuned us in to chemical root pruning, and we thank him!

These air-pruning containers require little storage space and are easy to assemble

Uncle Ben used a product called SePRO Griffin’s Spin-Out that consists of copper hydroxide suspended in water-soluble paint as a carrier. To use, simply brush-paint container insides with two coats of the product. Roots grow to within a fraction of an inch of the copper hydroxide, and then stop. Roots will not touch the copper compound. The result is essentially the same as is achieved with air pruning. Plants having a dense root system dispersed evenly throughout the root ball are easier to maintain, and they grow bigger in smaller containers. Note: Medical cannabis gardeners avoid using copper compounds to prune roots, citing root burn problems. In elemental form copper is easy to over-apply, and it quickly becomes toxic to plants. Copper sulfate (0.3 %) is less toxic than copper hydroxide. Both compounds are insoluble in water and ions do not translocate to roots.

to change drug laws in our country and allow adults to use responsibly. The potential that this new emerging market has to benefit the UK’s economy and employment is enormous and should not be ignored. Events like this also aim to educate their visitors about the health benefits of cannabis and Product Earth was no exception. Seminars from activists, patients and even edible producers were available to watch at set times on both days in a special designated seated area that was situated at the centre of the expo hall floor. The rest of the weekend can only be described as a fun mixture of fantastic products, music and hazy networking. A real rare glimpse into what a thriving cannabis trade market could look like here in the UK, the tide of legalisation is coming and it cannot be stopped. The highlight for me though who usually does social media work for the magazine from behind a screen has to be spending quality time with old friends and meeting new people that have educated themselves or learnt new techniques from turning pages and reading the articles inside. I really do hope the Product Earth Expo continues to evolve and delight for many years to come. Big thanks and respect to all who worked hard to make it happen! See you all next year!

By DannyGreenFingers

In the past decade cannabis has become increasingly big business all over the world. Industry growth has resulted in a number of established public trade shows that take place annually throughout Europe. The UK has been long overdue such an event but now lovers of the plant who live in the country can finally enjoy the unique expo/festival experience that is Product Earth!

This was to be my second time helping Dutch colleagues represent Soft Secrets magazine with a booth at the Peterborough Arena and to say I was looking forward to it was an understatement. I arrived at site in a taxi from the city centre around midday on Friday and before making my way to the camping zones I decided to take a look inside the main exhibition hall for where we would be working over the weekend. The large space was full with many different vendors that included amongst others various seed banks, head shops, clothing suppliers and vaporiser companies, all very busy setting up. I could already tell by the great atmosphere it was apparent that this year’s show was going to be much bigger than the first in 2015. After unpacking the large pallet of magazines that had been previously delivered to our stand, I set up my camp in the trade zone and enjoyed some live music from the main stage outside the arena with friends later in the evening. Day 1 opened to the public at 11am on Saturday and we were ready as a team to hand out free bags that each contained Soft Secrets UK magazines, a copy of the Highlife Guide and some rolling papers. The arena was quick to fill with a steady stream of likeminded people who were all eager to find out

what was new and innovative from the cannabis industry, this shows more than ever that the government needs

GROW WITH STONEY TARK By Stoney Tark Photos courtesy of Dinafem

Clones placed outside during September time will finish and be ready to harvest in November. The idea again is that you have 20-50 small clones that have been started indoors. You will discover that if the plants are given enough lighting and nutrients, they will create a very strong sea of green. If your clones are 15 centimetres tall, then they will finish around 40 centimeters and produce one main cola depending on which strain you have grown.Typically indica dominant strains will only double in size.

Security During Harvest: This is when it gets serious and the reality dawns on you that you need to pull a good pound or two, from the site you have been secretly attending for the last 6 months. You may be able to bomb out a wooded area or forest with clones or big monster plants that have been growing since April, then security is the number one risk and reward factor.

PREPARING FOR THE OUTDOOR HARVEST

STONEY TARK’S TOP TIPS

It is the last part of the year and the part that outdoor growers anticipate the most. The days became shorter after June 21st, so as those big green bushy plants grew as much as they can, they have now been preparing for the flowering stage and now harvest is not too far away for many of you. During Spring, you will have planted and allowed the plants to grow to your chosen size and liking. If you are in the UK, Holland, Spain or anywhere that is enjoying some sunshine, then below are my top tips that will allow your crop to be the best it can be. Plant Support: You may be a grower who is conscious of plant support and have incorporated mainlining or scrogging. You should consider that now the plants will spend the last 4 weeks of their life cycle swelling and producing biomass weight. This is a very good time to hang your buds with string or trellis somehow. Plants can easily topple themselves over and literally fall onto the floor. This is sometimes saveable when growing indoors, however if you're away from the plant for a number of days at a time, then a toppled plant on a wet and dirty floor can lead to big problems. Also you must consider that if the chunky big buds begin to touch one another, this can have serious effects on the amount of fresh air that is circling around the leaves and buds. Many outdoor crops can become devastated by Powdery Mildew and often

Grey Mould. As the nights get colder and the humidity and temperature change, this is when the outdoor grower must be at their most vigilant. Remember the more support the plant has until harvest, the more it will be encouraged to really max out.

Purple Plants: Many growers have many different stories when it comes to purple plants. The truth is that some strains are genetically wired to have purple traits, such as Purple Kush and Grand Daddy Purps. When plants are exposed to cold enough temperatures in the night time, they will begin to show sign of this just like plants show seasonal colours in Nature. Many of the Kush strains grown in California will often finish with a dark purple glow, as the night time in the Californian mountains can get quite chilly. The purple colour of the plant will not affect the strength, taste or aroma,

however you may find it has more bag appeal in a social scenario. If you want to grow purple plants, you can simply leave the plants to get colder until they almost go orange, red and purple.

Clones: If you missed out on the chance this year to plant outdoors in March until May, then there is still a chance to produce some great yields. If you have clones that can be placed outside, this time of year they will flower and produce a nice top budded plant. If you can place clones outside in August time, then you can get really good results. The idea is that you want to grow an outdoor sea of green and the more smaller plants the better. The method of placing many clones outside at this time of year, is only really advantageous to those living in hot climates such as Spain or the Mediterranean.

This is also the point where you may consider sleeping close to those precious plants, until the big day comes. I have had friends come and sleep over at my site before in hammocks. Of course ready for any intrusions but the militant mindset must be established. This way you can for sure know the plants will stay protected under your watch. You cannot always be there but this is a good way to ensure that the grounds are protected. One thing that I would certainly not advise is to bring the entire plant back in one go. You may not think at the time this is what you would do but when your realise you're one step away from the biggest harvest of your life, you can think like a fool and find yourself in Jail like many of the Spanish growers do! What I would recommend is to harvest in the safety of the night time. You can easily chop down the top branches and place into a large cardboard box or some type of device to carry. Then chop of the lower and side branches. Try to carry away all of the flowers whilst leaving behind the plant with stem and remaining cut branches in place. The advantage of this is if you can have access to the same location next year, this harvested plant will re veg itself over the next year and you will have a second plant that is already more than a year old, with one huge root system already established.

Fungus and Insects And Your Options: When growing a plant that is bigger than you in the open outdoors, the plant had had the opportunity for over half a year to become the host for many insects that can only be seen under closer inspection. Depending on which country you are growing outdoors, you will combat many different problems ranging from slugs, snails, mites, grasshoppers, whitefly, red

38 spider and caterpillars. If you are unlucky and find your plant has been attacked by insects and the collateral damage has extended to your buds, you need to carefully remove the damaged buds and throw away. If you find your crop has been infested by spider mites or red spider or maybe the home to hundreds of whitefly, you may want to consider using this for making extraction with. If you make a butane extraction or even use a bubble bag system, you will retain all of the trichomes from from the Cannabis that these insects have ruined. You may also arrive back to your beloved plant and notice it has a dark white glow around the leaves and buds. Some beginner growers may confuse this for resin, yet once you realise this white powder that has appeared overnight is a fungus attaching itself to the surface of the leaves, you can begin to panic. This fungus is called Powdery Mildew and can be successfully treated even at the last stage with a Phosphorus rich solution. I personally find using hydrogen peroxide 3% solution can clear the white powder away and can be rinsed off. You must be very careful at this stage not to spray the buds too much even if they are infected. The reason is the extra moisture will cause more fungus spores to settle. Be

THE PURPLE COLOUR OF THE PLANT WILL NOT AFFECT THE STRENGTH, TASTE OR AROMA, HOWEVER YOU MAY FIND IT HAS MORE BAG APPEAL IN A SOCIAL SCENARIO

branch and flower. If you hang your plants to dry then try to have them dry trimmed and cured in jars. The reason I say this is because I have witnessed growers harvest enormous yields and then been defeated by the trimming work. Resulting in super dry buds and a very poor trim job that ultimately takes away from the bag appeal, taste and effect. I would personally recommend to remove all of the buds that are the size of your hand. Take all of the branches and leaf away until you have a box of identical trimmed 10 centimeter nugs. By removing

Trimming A Huge Plant: Outdoor plants can often produce hundreds of shoots during its life cycle. If you have trained your plant to grow extra large then you will know there is a huge area of

Use The Roots For Compost: For real organic farmers, digging up the roots and breaking apart into the medium again is highly beneficial for the environment. The microbial life within the soil will feed off these roots and slowly break them down, conditioning the soil for future use. Many growers will

Flushing For Grey Ash: Now is a really good time to consider how you will flush these monster plants. A good tip I recommend is using carbonated water and enzymes. From my experience when growing outdoors, the taste is very organic indeed. I personally always feed my outdoor plants with carbonated water which is easily available from supermarkets or large stores.

careful when treating Powdery Mildew and discover which treatments work best and when it can have an adverse effect. Another unseen danger that is always around the corner is Botrytis or Grey Mould. This is caused when the buds are thick and wet. The air flow will be not ideal and the buds will develop a slimy silver layer. The silver layer can become dark and the infected flower will take on candy floss like characteristics. The way to tackle Grey Mould is to stop it spreading to the rest of the crop. Remove what you can see and do this in a sterile way using scissors and gloves. Remember that this is a living spore so like Powdery Mildew, once you kill the original source then prevention is much more achievable. If you find that their is an entire side branch or main cola covered in a spider web candy floss like texture, be ready to consider extraction again!

One thing you should consider is being professional with the waste products when trimming. I like to have a box for the fan leaves and anything not worthy of keeping. Then I have a box that is for all the sugar leaf. Think about how much sugar leaf you can pull off one plant, so if you have a few then this part should be as exciting as harvesting the buds themselves. Make sure you have drinks, food and good music. Pre roll your joints in advance as there is nothing more frustrating than trying to roll with sticky fingers.

the branches and leaf, you will find the buds will dry out much better on their own. Once you have your collection of nugs, place them into a thin brown paper bag and number the bags. Then you can fill a bag 75% full of nugs so you can shake the bag every few days. By doing this you can have an assortment of bags labelled and drying out nicely minus the entire plant and leaves attached!

The reason why a joint can leave behind a concerning coal black, is down to the salt and metal build up. If you think about the amount of Phosphorus and Potassium the plant is taking in, then to totally dissolve all of the built up salts you need to flush with a heavy enzyme mix. I like to add enzymes from different brands are there are thousands of different enzymes available around the world and the more the better. You are still feeding the plant just as you were before with enzymes, as this will allow the remaining nutrients to be broken down into an easier to drink solution for the plants. The idea behind the flush is not just to finish with great tasting coffeeshop flavours, yet to push the plant and starve it before she is ready to be taken down. By slowly reducing the amount of nutrients your plant has and transitioning your base feed, there is no reason your plant will produce black uneven burning ash, resulting in a harsh smoke.

pull the roots directly out of the ground and discard the medium, however it is good practice to reuse the old medium and understand how to supercharge it, so it always contains the nutrients and micro minerals any plant needs to start life. A Cannabis plants roots also has capabilities to draw nutrients from the deepest parts of the Earth’s soil matrix, which means inside the leaves and stems contain the extracted minerals. An excellent form of true life organic so add the fan leaves and stems back into the soil. This is one way to grow with super strength compost and allow you to express your organic freedom!

GROW YOUR OWN Line of 3 cool tubes

AUTOMATED SEED GROWING J. Searcher

We have visited Yako, a veteran grower AMERICAN PIE AND KRYPTONITE focusing on details. In his garden, In the room we have seen that both and American Pie give Yako grows for himself and for some Kryptonite similar results, this is why they can friends and family who have helped be grown from seeds. The strength him to set it up. The garden has been of both strains is another outstanding feature, as they have strong stems and completely automated, to maximize they are easy to grow. production, without compromising American Pie has been designed to get quality. a plant that would be easy to grown, In this room, two of Pyramid Seeds strains are being grown from seeds: American Pie and Kryptonite. Yako prefers to use seeds and not cuttings, as this prevents using a growth room, relying on others and having pests. According to him, for quality modern strains it is not necessary to use cuttings, as they have a very similar structure and there are no taller plants covering the others.

this is why among its ancestors appear two excellent champions of resistance: Power Plant and White Widow. When it bloomed, American Pie had a compact and solid structure, which can be easily supported with no stakes. Much resin has been produced, poor irrigation has led to slight overfertilization at the end of its cycle, roots have been washed only using water, which solved the issue and a quality product has been eventually obtained, involving a lot of resin.

Carbon filter and air conditioning

Kryptonite is a quick Sativa strain coming from varieties grown in Granada mountains, making it an exclusive Pyramid Seeds variety, different from any other strains on the market. Long, though compact and heavy buds, having many trichomes and a powerful effect. Even though, at a first glance, it produces less resin than American Pie, when smoked, it proved to be even stronger, to have a Haze taste with a sour touch and to be special and different. Another peculiar feature is that its Haze taste persists despite the fact that it is very fast.

SETUP AND FERTILIZATION

The setup includes six 600 watt cool tubes, distributed in two lines of 3 lamps. It is equipped with an electronic ballast, so that power can be adapted to the plants lifecycle, starting the growth with less power. Ballasts are

placed outside the setup not to produce any heat inside it. According to Yako, temperature is one of the main factors he focuses on, this is why he has set up a complete ventilation system, including an 860 cubic meter extractor, plus a 160 cubic meter extractor for each cool tubes line, besides a 5,000 refrigerationunit air conditioning system. The system is controlled by means of a control unit, so that when temperature goes down in winter, cool tubes work slowly, whereas when temperature goes up in summer, they work at full speed, in combination with air conditioning. It also includes a powerful pump to draw air, as well as several fans moving air in the system. All this allows keeping the room temperature around 23º-24º C, in both summer and winter. The extraction system is equipped with a carbon filter eliminating any smells, before extracting air. Plants are grown in a light substrate, using 11-liter pots full of coconut, placed onto growing tables to facilitate work. To feed the plants he uses Bionova fertilizers, in particular Strong Coconut A + B, increasing amounts as the garden progresses. Throughout the cycle, he also uses two Bionova stimulants, BN X-cel and The Missing Link, as well as BN Zym enzymes. At the beginning of blooming, he adds P20, whereas on the third week he uses P20 and K20, only applying K20 after this stage. Nutrientsenriched water is prepared in an external tank and gets to the garden via an automatic irrigation system, including individual droppers for each plant.

CONCLUSIONS

The final harvest has achieved excellent results, in terms of both production and taste and effects. Yako eventually told us that quality genetics, automation and temperature control are key factors to get good results with little work. Yako has been extremely satisfied with the results of Pyramid Seeds genetics and he will refer to this seed bank again for his future gardens.

GROW WITH STONEY TARK

FLOWERING TOP TIPS FROM THE EXPERT

The blooming phase is imminent and now you’re ready to watch those big shrub like plants, flower and reward your hard work thus far. There is always a lot happening during blooming and many growers are only sure about feeding accordingly then at some point flushing. Here you will find helpful tips that will help meet those expected seed packet yields, different feeding techniques and how to flush correctly ensuring high grade quality, quantity, potency and flavour. I will explain how to really get the most out of your plants and how to grow the healthiest plants By Stoney Tark / Photos courtesy of Grass-o-matic possible. Transition Feeding: Many nutrient companies who offer a “grow, bloom and micro-pack” will advise to feed one nutrient one week, then to feed another the next. The switch of nutrients often signals that the grower is now past the rooting & growing phase of a few weeks. Many blooming feeds contain high levels of Phosphorus and Potassium, yet are

Imagine when you pour a glass of water into the sink. As you turn the glass and water leaves, the exiting water is being replaced by air. The same process occurs when you wet a dry medium. The oxygen rich nutrients you are using (aerated by fish tank pump) will trap oxygen inside the medium, and allow air chambers for the roots to grow in an ideal environment. By doing this you will

IT IS VITAL THAT YOUR AIR FLOW, TEMPERATURES AND HUMIDITY ALL STAY IN CHECK TO AVOID MOULD, BUD ROT, MILDEW AND UNWANTED PESTS often low in Nitrogen. For example you may find a blooming feed that is N-P-K: 1-5-6 and switch to this feed. However, you must remember that during the flowering phase, the first 21 days of the stretching phase as we commonly know it, is also a point of hormone exchange and depends on high sources of N-P-K. In fact, tests have shown that the plants use if not more Nitrogen during the flowering stage, than during its growing phase. Stick with using a grow based feed for example N-P-K: 3-3-4. Then during the first 21 days of flowering, you can begin to use less of the grow feed and begin to mix in the flowering feed. Make a 50/50 ratio and work the new flowering feed in accordingly, ensuring your E.C remains adequate. There should never be a yellow leaf in sight during the flowering stage, if you can control Nitrogen, Calcium and Magnesium efficiently. Many growers like to quickly flush their plants at week 3 but I believe if you transition feed correctly, you should maintain perfect plant health.

Allow Roots And Medium To Dry: Many times in growing, less is more. As tempting as it may be to slam the plants with a high nutrient feeds, remember it is essential for the roots to breathe. You want the medium preferably to dry out totally until the point of a totally light pot. The advantages of feeding the totally dry medium are air displacement.

also allow the plant to feed very efficiently without the concerns of a soggy airless medium. My personal feeding regime over a one week blooming phase is ‘Feed Nutrient +Feed Nutrient + Feed Water ‘. I find the plant respond much better and allow time to dry out my medium in between feeds. This will

ensure that you do not get bad smells coming from the roots as stagnant water is being held in the medium and pot.

What Water Are You Using? I think one of the best moves I ever made in my growing career was switching to using

bottled water from my super market. If you think about when you make isolator and should begin with the best ice Possible, the same go for the water you feed your plants. You can find many types of water from all over the world if your super market is big enough. The bottled water we would drink is just as good for plants. The thing we are looking at is the low E.C value as well as the balance in minerals, as if you would when pre soaking rock wool cubes or leaving clones in a glass of water over night. It may sound like an expensive venture but when you have a high quality water source, your half way to producing extremely vibrant happy plants. Add a pump to your water supply for the highest levels of dissolved oxygen and you have an excellent water source! Try using different brands of water and see what the plants think. Make notes to see if any brands in particular change the outcome of one plant over another. This is how some of the best isolators in the world are made and what is referred to as ‘holy water ‘.

Light Regimes And Seasonal Colours: When we flower plants as growers we are informed 12/12 is what is necessary to induce flowering. The buds will fill out and become covered in dense trichomes. The plant health should remain as healthy as possible with full green on display. What the plants need now is to know that the days are now getting short and time to ripen and ultimately finish. The way to do this is to reduce the amount of light the plants are receiving to 10 hours. Keep them in the dark for 14 hours and dur-

45 ing this stage they will produce Ethylene and push to ripen. This is nature at work and the same process must occur for fruit to become ripe to eat. So apply the same principal with growing Cannabis as it is still a beautiful flower that should see the full season through as in nature. For the last 3 weeks I always switch to 10 hours of light and then to 9 hours. Just because the lights are off does not mean your precious buds are missing out on critical growing time, yet are working just as hard in the dark to push for the final phase before harvest. You should notice the plant will display what is called ‘seasonal colours ‘. The name highlights the facts that end of season is close and new colours such as deep purples and reds and even orange take on the leaves. It is a sight that all growers should see as this is nature’s way of telling us she is ready!

Creating An Organic Medium: There are many organic growers who have always had a routine, of re-potting a small plant into a newly made ‘blooming mix ‘. This mix is generally an even ratio of co, perlite, vermiculite and perhaps clay balls at the bottom of the roots to allow better drainage. However, you can add additional organic supplements that can really improve growth and taste factors. Below is a list of the organic mix I would personally work with: t $P $P t 1FSMJUF t .JY 0G 8PSN )VNNVT 7BSJPVT / 1 ,

t 7PMDBOJD "TI t 1PXEFSFE #BU (VBOP 7BSJPVT / 1 ,

t (VBOP LBMPOH %SZ 4FB 8FFE t 5SJDIPEFSNB 'VOHJ (FOVT

Organic Liquid supplements: t -JRVJE 4FBXFFE t 7JUBNJO # 4VQQMFNFOU t "FSBUFE #BU (VBOP $PNQPTU 5FB t "FSBUFE 8PSN )VNNVT $PNQPTU 5FB t "FSBUFE /FUUMF 0SUFHB $PNQPTU 5FB t " NJY 0G )VNJD "OE 'VMWJD "DJET t %PVCMF &O[ZNFT 8JUI &WFSZ 'FFE I find all of the above very soft and user friendly. You should aim to find a sponge like consistency that can hold plenty of air. I would then use a water source very low in

E.C and always oxygen rich with the liquid feeds. This is a super charged living and breathing medium that your plants will go crazy for, yet the real reward comes with the final taste of the buds. In my opinion, this style of organics offers the highest taste factor possible. You will notice the organic compost teas are liquid forms of what is already within the medium in powder form. The humic and fulvic acids will provide the important elements the microbes and fungi inside the mix require to thrive. I add a liquid version of the feed for taste value. You can of course experiment with what works with you. I have had a lot of success mixing in wood ash, charcoal and bio chars to my medium. Either way your plant vitality will drastically improve in vigour, cell division and overall plants resistance.

Kyle kushman grows some of the most incredible plants I have ever seen and the focus on enzymes (amongst many other variables) is the key to his success.

When Is The Right Time To Flush? :

Clear The Lower Canopy:

Double Up On Enzymes:

By this stage you have worked closely with your plants to ensure the best possible top canopy. Now is the time when your plants will in fact produce more new shoots and perform more cell division than previously before. A good grower knows what unwanted lower shoots to remove and the correct times to do. You do not want the plants energy to grow small producing lower shoots. Remove the lower 12 inches to start with. Do not take more of than this. You will know what can be rubbed away with fingers and what is now firmly established. Be sure to rub away and discourage new growth. Remember the plants will keeps growing new lower growth until you firmly clear all signs of new shoots. If you do this at the start of the flowering stage and be vigilant and clear the lower branches, then by week 3 you will have a foot high main shoot with a thick protruding canopy above. This is ideal for excellent air flow and allowing the grower to focus on what is important. The whole concept is what makes scrog grows a success. Everything above the screen is a main shoot and below the screen is totally clear. It is vital that your air flow, temperatures and humidity all stay in check to avoid mould, bud rot, mildew and unwanted pests.

Enzymes work wonderfully and many commercial growers are not aware of their use or benefits. In the same way humans have many forms of enzymes that the human body depends on. Enzymes function in a cellular environment and P.H and salt levels and do the same within plants. How would our bodies cope breaking down food without enzymes? The plants need them to function as a catalyst to speed up the metabolic intake of the plant. By doubling up on enzymes, this does not mean your feed ratio doubles but you actually use a different brand therefore working with different enzyme groups. You should try to use brands from opposite sides of the world or who can offer a unique source from their own location. My personal mix I used was Cannazyme, Hydrozyme and Sensizyme. I would use up to 3 different brands if I knew the enzymes were not from the same source. The plants will literally glow with an aura. I stand by this theory so much, I often challenge people to grow a plant side by side and see the difference for themselves. It is my understanding that Kyle Kushman promotes the same principals regarding enzyme use, as part of his very successful veganic growing style. I must say

During the last part of the flowering stage, your room should reek with dankness and the biomass of the buds will be around maximum potential. Here I would change my light regime and then only water. If you have followed the organic mix I made, you will have more than enough food for the plants to be able to feed oxygenated water and enzymes for the last 2 weeks and then feed nothing for the last week. Between feeding strictly water and enzymes for 14 days and the dry period, all of the salts will dissolve and not affect the plant taste. The humic and fulvic acids, microbes and enzyme groups will do an excellent job of ensuring a smooth delightful flower. If you are growing on a shorter flowering period like 50 days, flush for 1 week with water and enzymes then for one week completely let the medium dry out. By this stage the plant dry will be totally from the base and then by removing stems during trimming, the flowers will be able to dry quicker with the moisture trapped inside the stem gone. In this final stage as the plant is already use to a dry period during feeds, it will fight for the last nutrients available and naturally come to finish. By this stage you will have a light regime of 14 hours dark and 10 hours light, so the plant will sense that her genetic clock is at its end! Less light and less nutrients ensure a fight for the finish and end of season is upon her. By following my guide you should have a super organic garden and no issues with nutrient deficiency. Your plants have been given the best water from the start; transition fed correctly, a clear lower canopy promoting optimum top growth, fully ripened plants and cup winning flavors! Good Luck and Peace out…

Advertisements: E-mail: info@softsecrets.nl A word from the publisher: Soft Secrets is published in: The Netherlands (Highlife), Germany, France, Italy, Spain, UK, Poland, Czech Republic, Chile and Argentina. The UK government has embarked on a process of relative liberalisation towards the use of cannabis, and cannabis activists are engaged in broadening this engagement. Several local councils and police chiefs now actively support a Dutch-style coffeeshop system as a way of separating soft and hard drugs, as it has proven to do in Holland. Whether they are finding their way to new coffeeshops or growing for their personal supply, cannabis users are a menace to no

one, and are causing no discernable social problem. Some politicians and commentators are calling for the outright legalisation of marihuana. Let’s wait and see how the debate develops during a period of relative peace between all sides of the argument. In the meantime, the publisher hopes Soft Secrets will show the public a positive side to the normalisation of cannabis use, and is anxious to offer a forum to both pro- and anti-legalisation advocates.
