Through his photography in India, Italy, Spain, Mexico, and New York City Sandy Kaufman reveals a poetry of place while discovering the unfamiliar in the familiar— forms, patterns, juxtaposed images, textures, and composition in shadow and line. Sandy Kaufman is a painter and photographer living in Brooklyn, New York. He has worked for Columbia University and New York University for the past 20 years as a graphic designer and print/creative director while continuing to work on his paintings and photography. Now he is solely focused on his personal art and discovering, through his camera, the poetry around us. http://www.sandykaufman.photos
