do not excite or interest them beyond the first few weeks of the job. Alan Watts, the British philosopher describes it beautifully here:

They say that every experience is a gift and if so…I had one at the age of 17 that was certainly a gift.
Say NO to Monday Morning Blues! (money inspirACTION#184)
I took a gap year to save up money for university and worked in a DNA laboratory as a ‘Data Entry Assistant’.
Is waking up on Mondays a happy experience for you? Or do you suffer from the Monday Morning Blues? Whether you do or don’t…please share this blog with any young people you know who DO have the Monday Morning Blues.
The job I did was soul crushingly boring and I had to keep myself from falling asleep at my computer!!
22 years old I had dinner recently with two people for whom I care very much. I’ve known one of them since they were a baby. We were chatting and as we spoke about the holidays (it’s holiday season here in France) both their faces started looking sad. They told me they were going home soon and it would be ‘back to work’ on Monday morning. The way they said this shocked me. Not least because as they said this….. all life blood seemed to be sucked out of them and it felt like someone had just died….. …..but also because they are only 22 years old!
Never Again I did the job for 6 months and within a few days of starting knew I wouldn’t last long.
I watched as colleagues around me moaned and groaned about life and sought comfort in food – my direct neighbour was clinically obese and used to eat four rounds of sandwich before lunch! Bullied into a diet by other girls in the office she would sneakily eat them whilst nobody was looking and once begged me not to say anything The managers had their own offices and everyone else was clearly on a different status level. The monotony of being there for 9am everyday, and knowing that I’d be bored by 10am was like living a slow, torturous death. That sounds dramatic but it’s how I felt!
22 years old!
When I got to University I was determined to do whatever I could to NOT have to work in that kind of place again.
I could easily have been talking to a couple in their forties.
I studied hard and graduated with a First Class degree.
And as we spoke I could see their lives unfolding ahead of them with the same energy of quiet desperation and boredom digging deeper and deeper.
And I never forgot the energy of that place. I don’t even remember much of the details – other than making rounds of tea for 15 people!! – but I remember how I felt working there.
Know what I mean? I don’t know if you reading this are an employee or an entrepreneur, or even an athlete or mother. But I do know that you know people – young people included – living like this too. I personally believe it’s crazy that this is considered normal in our world. I’ve watched as dozens and dozens of my peers, hundreds even, have settled into routines of jobs that pay the bills, but
And I knew that I’d never go ‘there’ again.
So are You ‘there’? Do you know people ‘There’? Seeing this couple ‘there’ and hating their lives at the young age of 22 made me more determined than ever to pursue the other possibilities that exist. What if you don’t have to live your life doing a job you hate?

What if you don’t have to life your life waiting for the weekend?
Because the articles I write on this blogging platform make me money.
What if it just seems like that’s the only choice because everyone else is doing it, but it’s not actually REAL?
It’s a simple system.
What if it’s an ILLUSION ?
You tell people about it.
I truly believe it is.
Whatever it is that you enjoy, please find a way of doing it. I personally didn’t use to appreciate just how precious life is… Until my body began breaking down at the age of 27 and it suddenly hit me that continuing to live – was not something I could take for granted.
You write or produce content – it can be about ANYTHING You get 100% commissions from any sales that your content generates. AND you get to part of an amazing team – Team Have it ALL! – that is truly a beyond inspirational group of people!! Peeps all over the world (even in Portugal and France!) are using the system to create passive income that gives them the finances and time to do OTHER things too – like play music or be an artist or do healing work.
It made me realise that if I stuck around….I might as well enjoy it.
Watch this free video that explains it here.
Know what I mean???!!!!
What if money was no object?
We all have different things that excite and enthuse us…and like Alan Watts says in the video – finding it will eventually pay off. Especially if you persist in your journey of finding what it is you enjoy.
What would you do? look forward to Mondays a little more?
You can enlist help from the Universe by asking it: Universe, what can I do easily it will make my life more fun and bring me tons of money? You may not quite know what it is now – or even how to monetise it.
Or just get started here.
Whatever it is (and whether it’s via blogging or not!!), I hope you take steps towards that today. Because my friend, what if anything is possible?! Internet Hug!! Sandy PS If you enjoyed this you will like:
And we all have different things that excite us and different ways to make money with it. But I know, from personal experience, that asking that question will open doors!! (The following story is an example from my own life – and I am not saying that everyone who reads this should blog! But I’d like to include it in case some part of it inspires someone, somewhere to know that the Universe will provide for us when we have a clearer idea of what we’d like!!!)
Lights, Camera, Action I love writing and making videos. And exactly one year ago I was feeling totally burnt-out. I’d started teaching Zumba® because I love teaching it – but the grind of weekly classes and ‘yo yo income’ that came with it was tiring me out. I kept asking the question above, and it hit me that one of the easiest things for me to do is write. Instantly my mind went into overtime, trying to figure out how I could actually make a living from this. And I began writing more often on my blog and writing a book.
Internet Magic But it wasn’t until I watched a webinar one night about blogging and joined Empower Network that I began to write consistently. And one day, a few months later, I realised that I’d – unconsciously! – found a way to monetise my love of writing. Created using Zinepal.
