SANJANA ANIL
Hello, I am Sanjana Anil
As someone passionate about art, I’ve always been intrigued by how architecture shapes society’s values and ethics. My deep dive into visual architecture has greatly influenced me. The main aim of visual architecture is to turn ideas into designs that people can experience. I’ve had the chance to explore various design methods and discover what aspects of visual architecture I enjoy most. This journey has helped me better understand how architecture impacts our lives in meaningful ways. Additionally, I had the chance to do my internship with Mancala construction solutions in Auroville.

KAL KA BAZAAR
a case of restructuring Sarojini Nagar market, Delhi
Semester : 10
Typology : Market
We have all gone to locations with large, dynamic activities, massive crowds of people hustling all around, surrounded by the pandemonium of all kinds of noises, all wrapped up in this magnificent milieu of colours and fragrances called “Market.” The term market differs from place to place and from person to person; some call it a bazaar, while others call it a mandi, and so forth. We literally all traveled to these sites and carried those memories with us. Every city has these markets that capture the soul of the place. In a way, these marketplaces are an important aspect of the city that people living there neglect or ignore. There are various markets in India that date back to the regal rule periods. The current situation of these Indian markets shows no change from previous decades. It is still the same as it was when it began; except for an increase in people and traffic, it has the same turmoil, crowding, and suffocation. So, what is the future of this place? Every other architectural space has altered over time, yet this typical bazaar has not.
What is the Indian market’s future, which must be constructed in the present while retaining the essence of the past?
