Independant Project (2020)

Site Area- 2400 Sq.Feet

This was the first full scale project which I did independently after completing my bachelors in architecture. My client was fond of gardening so I decided to give him some extra space for plantation through green roof. While planning, I made sure that every corner of the house receives sufficient amount of sunlight, Which was a bit challenging because there was no setback on the north and east side, and client did not want to give any dedicated space for shaft. I overcame this problem by giving the stairs at the southeast corner. I used this space as a duct for light and air circulation. Another concern was to make each floor independent yet connected with each other, This requirement was fulfilled by creating a seperate space for vertical circulation, each floor had it’s individual entrance.

Deichman Library Expansion 2

Fall 2021 (M.Arch)

Completed in 2020, Deichman library is situated in Oslo, Norway and is one of the most modern libraries around the world. Our task was to come up with a futuristic & innovative expansion idea for library. We worked on this project in a group of three. Expansion focused on designing an informal space for the events and a sunroom.

Kolkata Museum of Modern Arts

Thesis (B.Arch)

The KMOMA complex consists of an Art Centre and a Culture City on 10 acres of land. Art centre comprises of a modern arts museum and art institute. Culture city includes Artist’s residences, performing arts theatre and covention centre. KMOMA seeks to establish itself as an art city. It is going to be Asia’s first museum of modern arts.

Slit windows & G.F.R.C. jali envelopeThese serve as both aesthetic and functional add ons. Slit windows along with G.F.R.C. jali give a sense of openness and create a beautiful pattern of sunlight.

This was an interior design project in which i was involved during my internship at Nadig Associates. With the supervision of principal architect, i handled this project from the very beginning till it’s completion. I took care of all 2d & 3d drawings, furniture design and work execution on site. It was completed in 3 months.

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

Summer Internship (2022)

This was a renovation project of a spa and pool area located at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, Scottsdale, AZ. Here, I worked thouroughly on design development and construction drawings set. I also designed a wall mural which will be installed on site in collaboration with a company named ‘Artaic’. Revit was primarily used for all the drawings. Other softwares used were Lumion and Photoshop.
