Certifications & Memberships

Global Organic Textile Standard – GOTS

GOTS is one of the best ways for us to be sure that everyone in our supply chain, from farmer to factory, is honouring organic practices. They also audit for both social and environmental standards, which is key in having full confidence in where our garments come from – for us and our customers.

Organic Content Standard – OCS

When we label a garment OCS 100, that means it's been made with 100% organic cotton. If you see OCS Blended, it means that whilst there might be something else in there – like rPET – the cotton content is certified organic.

OEKO-TEX®

We take product safety seriously, and OEKO-TEX® gives us all the assurances that there's nothing hiding in our garments that could be harmful to us. We hold the highest level of certification, Class 1 –meaning peace of mind for you and your little ones.

Recycled Content Standard – RCS

RCS helps us to ensure that any content we say is recycled is the real deal, checking that the material has come from legitimate sources.

Canopy

We don't tend to use a lot of viscose, but when we do, Canopy help us to make sure that it's been sourced from responsibly managed forests rather than endangered woodland.

At Mantis World, collaborating with certifiers and like-minded organisations couldn’t be more important. Behind the scenes, they do vital work across every part of the supply chain, and we are proud to work alongside all of them.

Science Based Target Initiative

The SBTi is a partnership between multiple vital organisations including the WWF and the UN. It seeks to drive ambitious climate action in the private sector. We have committed to reducing our scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% by 2030. We're thrilled this target has been approved and validated by the SBTi.

PETA Approved Vegan

We don't believe in harming animals in the name of fashion. That's why we are proud to hold PETA Vegan approved status, meaning there are no animal products used at any point in the manufacturing process.

Fair Wear

We are proud members of the Fair Wear Foundation. They do the vital job of connecting us to unions and factories on the ground in our countries of production, ensuring that workers are provided with fair pay and dignified working conditions.

United Nations Fashion Industry Charter For Climate Action

The UN's Fashion Industry for Climate Action is fighting the mass pollution caused by the textile industry. By setting joint aims and goals, it brings us in line with other companies and manufacturers, uniting us against the common enemy of climate change.

Textilb Ndnis

The Partnership for Sustainable Textiles – or Textilbündnis –help us collaborate across the industry on shared social and environmental goals.

Textile Exchange

One of our oldest collaborators, we have been members of the Textile Exchange for over a decade. They promote sustainable and ethical manufacturing processes as well as bringing the industry together to set benchmarks and standards that we can all work towards.
